Hi All,
For now all trading for WBB on any exchange is stopped.
Please keep your coins safe and have them retrieved from the exchanges.
Going forward there will be a new version coming out with new technology which will prevent attacks we have seen on 51% plus.
You can get your WBB wallet if you have none at https://www.WildBeastBitcoin.com/downloads or as an alternative you can store them on 1ex.trade. Note there is not trading till we release a new version. But the best way is always to keep them local in your own wallet.
Mining is carried on till new version is release so the chain of WBB is moving forward.
Exchanges to retrieve coins from are:
Bittrex is paying out to coin holders, no trading, delist request has been made to them, delist is on the 23/6
Cryptopia you need to contact them, no trading, delist request has been made to them, date not given

it is something like 0.0003% chance re. potential 'hack' or try for a hack during the time period they found the main issue. BUT given how low it's been open wound who knows. so best to just reset most / all of your passwords and even re-do your 2FA if possible (i don't think that is a "must" though).

I America we are going through a bit of a free speech crisis. We are learning that you need to let the other side speak so that we have diversities of opinion and you have to take all sides into consideration.
Also if you silence people, it drives them underground where it gets a chance to fester into something much more malevolent. Get it out and let the people decide what side they are on.

I've got a virtual box question: If I install WBBOS via VB on windows 10 and only accessed it when I wanted to move coins to/from my wallet, would that count as "cold storage"? Or would the fact that it is still on a computer with internet access negate that?
What if I disabled the internet connection through VB and only enabled it when I am moving coins?

Cold storage classed you can really only say if the system is not connected to the internet e.g. usb job

Is this project still alive?
More alive then ever, it's just all behind the scenes. Phase 2 started on closed beta (only people on slack invited to test) and as far as I've seen, it's going really well.
Devs like to play things pretty close to the chest, so we won't know anything until they are ready to spill the beans.
