Relatively depends. The probability that new cryptocurrencies will soon begin to catch up with Bitcoin itself is high. But, almost all of them will not "overtake" at the price of the top 10 crypto-currencies. They will be more interested in dumping and mastering "their" layer of the population with a lower income.

I can not say that everything always depends on bitcoin , but in most cases , still depend, because it is a leading cryptocurrency.

Oh, the majority of the cryptos' prices always depend on the price of Bitcoin. Look at the market - all the tokens are following BTC, going up or down together with it. (sometime with time delay)

No, it is not. All cryptocurrencies have a value that depends on the state of the market and the mood of investors. This is the same situation as in the usual currency market.

I think that bitcoin prices and altcoin prices do seem to be interrelated because when the price of bitcoin goes up in price, the price of altcoin will also experience price increases, and vice versa because this altcoin will not dare to go beyond bitcoin price movements.

Is price of the altcoin is based on price of the bitcoin?I have noticed the price of bitcoin falling down for past few days on same the price of altcoins are also falling down

I also do notice this thing and yes its true. Bitcoin is so dumped right now and most alts dumped too. But when bitcoin is so high like last year, alts also become high. I think one of the reason why it is depended is because bitcoin is a really powerful coin. Like example if the leader of the whole team become weak, the members become weak too.

Today, no coin price can be based on any coin, the price they develop in a trend is unpredictable, can see that the market is now increasingly degraded, the price of coins fell and many who gave up this market

yes you are altcoin for now depending on the price of bitcoin, when the price movement of bitcoin has decreased then the price of altcoin will also fall and when the price of bitcoin is rising then the price of altcoin will also experience price increases.

altcoins which doesn't have new development or news will be impacted directly by bitcoin price decreasing , but if they have ,they will not be  affected .strong coins which have strong projects can decrease the impact of this relation with bitcoin price in future .

Yes, altcoins prices are based on bitcoin price but not all. Try to look at the market prices when bitcoin is down, most altcoins are down also but as what I have said not all. There are still altcoin that is continuously rising even if bitcoin price is down.
I don't think all altcoins depend on the price of bitcoin. well, I only know that what really affects the price of altcoin is ETH. well, you can see at this time that when the ETH price is down, a lot of altcoin prices are also decreasing.

The price is not entirely related to this, but since many altcoins are priced in Satoshi, we can say that every price movement indirectly reflects here. We can often encounter situations such as adverse reactions when there are very severe fluctuations, but we can see that there are intense changes in standard price fluctuations depending on the price of Bitcoin. In particular, it is possible to say that USD-based pricing is almost one-to-one followed and that different price fluctuations create similar effects.

Crypto has a certain known characteristic, Bitcoin being more stable than altcoins and being the king determinant of what happens in the cryptospace whatever action that occurs in btc will have a multiple resultant effect on altcoins, that is why if btc adds 20%, some altcoins will add as much as 50%, and vice versa

often altcoin is used as an instrument of multiplying bitcoin, and the relationship between them, depending on the popularity, at the moment all attention is tied to bitcoin and until it completes its logical conclusion, the domination does not decrease

For short periods of time, young crypto currencies are more closely associated with the bitcoin course and are more dependent on it. As the popularity of altcoin increases, communication weakens. Altcoins have the same behavior with respect to bitcoin, in moments of significant news.

Yes, because all altcoins depend on changing the value of Bitcoin and that is one of the most important things Bitcoin uses to maintain the krytocurrancy currency. If an unexpected move will occur in the price of Bitcoin than all other coins will be greatly affected and the price will enter the zone.

Cryptocurrency prices seem to rise and fall in synchrony. No one has been able to explain the phenomenon satisfactorily. It could be due to the combination of large number of whales and bots trading based on latest technical and fundamental infos.

Actually not too. There are many altcoins scattered in the crypto market, but not all altcoin prices are based on bitcoin. I have seen in some markets that when bitcoin is rising there is an altcoin that falls. Vice versa.

There is a connection between bitcoin and altcoin prices because I see if the bitcoin price drops then almost all altcoin will also have a falling price as well if bitcoin prices start to rise then altcoin prices will also rise.
