Some altcoins have risen in price well too but of course not all. The growth of BTC gave a general impetus to the growth of the cryptocurrency market. Many altcoins have good growth prospects.
Bitcoin dominance is 59.9%, it is quite high, now all we have to do is to wait and watch. Altcoin season will start soon, but I think only top altcoins (top 100-150 cmc) will be profitable during this bull run.
We will see altcoin in the near future will be very extraordinary. Bitcoin alone has proven with increasing every day. With that, we can see the altcoin will experience a big increase. But now the increase in altcoin is still very slow and it's not a big problem.

the altcoins season is here but would say it's partially here. Reasons are because some altcoins have shown positive signs already. Taking some of the top ranked coin as an example then would see that there is a season is here but not fully activated

I believe so but you should not make references to all altcoins Because if so then you would also refer to ethereum, ripple, litecoin and some other altcoins which have actually made profits. But yea the market is still trying to get healthy I think altcoin is not yet to increase so high because bitcoin price still searches a safe level of the price. I see that the chance for the altcoin to increase higher will be wide open since we are in the lowest price for a long time.
So we still need to be patient while we can take a profit from bitcoin first and we can hope that later, we will take a profit from the altcoin too. Although we don't know when the altcoin price will increase, we can prepare from now on by buying the potential coins that are available on the market.

you could say that yes and I would like believe but I think this doesn't have to do with all altcoins as most of them had made good movement lately and yield better profits. So possibly other altcoins will follow as wellWhen there is a bull run, most of us are very positive and we also experiment on altcoins as we believe they also are profitable.
The big altcoins will rise first but then again we also cannot underestimate the small ones as not all money coming in are the smart money.
As the FOMO happens, things that are normal could happen as well, and that includes pumping less popular alts and even shit coins.

yes in 2007 also same. we have ta wait for alt coin season. always bitcoin first , all the investors pump the btc first then the alt coin. right time buy alt coin thats the most wise decision ever you get.
We used to see the price of altcoins pumping everytime bitcoin's value is increasing but this time its different. But it doesnt mean btc has no impact with altcoins, as we know btc is one of the pair for altcoins in exchanges.
This might be not the time for altcoins, just be patient and keep hodling. The high volatility of the market will favor to altcoins too in time, or if bull run occur.

That's the trend, and hopefully that trend will again happen this year.
What we are looking at now is when it would happen and I'm hoping it won't take long and I'd be happy to see Altcoins achieving its new ATH again.
Don't make many mistakes this time. 2019 is going to be much different from 2017. Don't expect worthless shitcoins to give you market caps in excess of $25 billion, as those times are long gone. During the past 2 years or so, the community has realized that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that is 100% perfect. Every other coin has some drawback, such as lack of decentralization or safety.
I think Bitcoin and Altcoin have a same season with up and down is same because that is same cryptocurrency.

If we see price movements in the top 10, I think the altcoin will occur after the bitcoin price steady. Bitcoin has reached $ 11k and maybe it will continue to rise hopefully this movement will follow a good altcoin

For now, most cryptos are very unstable and they can change significantly. although the [rice of BTC keeps increasing, we can see that altcoins don't have big chance to follow it up yet. That is why I think that many people prefer to convert their altcoins to buy BTC. ANd the condition of altcoins will be better in the next few moments.
Nobody knows exactly but it looks promising today since more altcoins increases in some percentage, only we need to wait the right time. Looking forward to seeing huge improvements in the part of altcoins in the 3rd quarter and also Bitcoin continues to grow. Its the time will matter this time and not to decline that we can experience few dumps as we are in the volatility.
Few of my altcoin holdings have increased big, but compared to its ath value it isn't worth it. Because in percentage the growth experienced is very small, to reach the ath value it need to grow at least 150%. We don't know whether this gonna happen or not, but the hope keeps the mind strong expecting good growth with altcoins over the days.

I think the big investors do not prefer alts at this time, their high interest is in Bitcoin now, alts will take time to go in bull run.
