this is a very good speculation, bro, by buying bitcoin and other altcoins, you will get a big profit, now the market has begun to stabilize you really have confidence
The altcoins market may not going to do too well this time around and it is better to stay with bitcoin than converting your bitcoin to any of the altcoin for now. Some of the altcoins that were performing very well in 2018 are currently down and it seems there may not recover this year especially against bitcoin.

In my opinion, it is a good time, Bitcoin rised fast and alts too, good alts now already at least 5X from early this year. I missed the opportunity to accumulate then while I will buy now... Hope it is still a good time, and maybe as Libra is a double edge sword it will bring more people to cryptocurrency and invest?

The projects I invest now:

Bittorrent
Stellar
Historia Network
RavenCoin
Mithrill
DGB

It's a great idea to accumulate when most major alternatives still represent good value and you can choose either the top ranked assets which will attract a lot of institutional investor interest and perform well this year or lower ranked assets that have strong potential just avoid any that might be considered securities

I've been accumulating btc ever since the huge dump in December, now I'm switching to alt-coins. I strongly believe that alt-coins will experience a mini bull run vs btc in the following months.
I'm thinking to split 20% btc 15% eth and 65% other alt-coins.
Up until now I've accumulated, in the latest 3 weeks, several strong alt-coins but I'm also willing to gamble a bit with lower market-cap projects with strong development and community. That being said, right now I've already bought or I'm looking into:

Kucoin shares
Zilliqa
ZCash
Elastos
Webdollar
Dent

What you guys think? What would you improve?
What projects do come to mind if low market-cap projects with active development and lots of potential is the goal Cheesy?

Any comments would be great! Thanks!
if I become you, it is likely that I will buy bitcoin, ethereum is enough for me. From these two coins it is very good for long-term investment and also the two coins that have the potential for all altcoin prices....?

i am into vechain heavily this past few months because not only it is a good investment when it comes to long term and its good fundamental side of things. It also can profit while you are hodling it in your wallet, you can profit vethor just by hodling vechain which is very cool. Like you i strongly believe in alts too.
I actually see if the market conditions are very good for daily trading. some altcoins make pumps, and the movement of bitcoin is also fast. I think it's profitable to trade. for the long term, altcoin might grow, but who knows for the future. everyone just speculates.

Upon my analysis, the investors and whales do not want to rush with the altcoins bull run , but rather want to study how stable will be for bitcoin.
Well, that is why the values of these altcoins are seriously going down, because there are no large investors putting money in altcoins market yet and all their focus are on bitcoin for now, and I think the reason why it is so is because many of the investors and whales understand that this period is bitcoin season, and until bitcoin starts to go sideways before any of these large industries can ever consider looking into altcoins.

For ordinary investors, if we are wise, I don’t think we should wait till when very big investors and whales starts to pump the altcoins before we start investing, I think it is still best if we start making some moves now to accumulate as much as we can in these altcoins like the ones the Op mentioned and some of other great coins that are available in the market which can be gotten through people’s reviews or by checking the list of coinmarketcap.

I hope I was at the moment before the bull run so that, I invested my money from there. I was really shocked and surprised when I saw the market full of green. But then, I never did anything than to ride. I am in FOMO but it worked. I gather some income recently because of altcoins and bitcoin pumps.
Altcoin will rise along with the increase in bitcoin, it is a fact that must have been understood by the players of the altcoin trading. They always observe the bitcoin price movements to analyze altcoin prices, if they are not vigilant, they will be trapped in buying altcoins whose prices are stagnant.
So, at the moment like now, the price of bitcoin is going up, it's good to buy altcoins that have good prospects like ETH, BNB, Litecoin or ZCash. Smart investment can certainly provide good benefits.

Choosing altcoin over bitcoin is not a bad idea since the time will come that you will also earn profit. But it is not going to be as fast as you earn profit from bitcoin. The good thing about altcoins is it is cheaper and you can do a long-term hold and earn a lot if you do a long-term hold.

but as i understand by trading on altcoins in BTC pairs, there is a chance to increase our bitcoin amount
so, if you are a big fan of bitcoin, i think altcoins trading in btc pairs could be a good choice buddy
then, for long term hodl i think we should do a deep research first before decided to invest.

Well
KCS
Zilliqa
Zcash is kinda fine

No sure with others, Webdollar seems sketchy for me (Never really read before it tho)

Diversify your investment is always good for risk management
But if you want a safer portfolio, BTC/ETH should have a higher share of % compare to alts imo
Alts are good in terms of profitability but not the risk control

Your analysis can be correct but seen from the trend it looks like the altcoin will not be bull run easily, surely the price of bitcoin will change again because the price of falling bitcoin prices is just like a reasonable correction done by traders who take profits.

The altcoin is waiting for the right time to get the bull run to happen, and that will happens no matter if it comes in the next months. I hope we will go to see a new thing in the Q3 this year and we could expect the altcoin will have the bull run. But with the down of bitcoin price, that will make some altcoin could increase from the last bottom price but the other altcoin still at the lower price. The chance of the altcoin to increase still wide open and we will see it soon, so you need to prepare your altcoin and place in the price you want.

for myself, I will definitely prepare this year for buying lots of high-potential coins such as bitcoin and ethereum because this year the two coins will definitely experience a large price increase and the value is definitely high
If you have not bought bitcoin for the price of 4000, then I am sure that you will not buy it at the price of 12k. Because people tend to doubt and this is their choice. Only risk brings good money. But you still have a chance to have time to buy Ethereum or other top coins, which are currently preparing to start  Cool

That’s the big mistake you’ve had in life, because it bitcoin who grows much in this bullrun and altcoin stays behind mate.and until now that correction happen still alternative coins fell down as well

What I did is different from yours because instead of buying altcoins ,I sold some of mine and buy bitcoin to wait for this bull, now I need to buyback my altcoins since they will surely the next to pump

And as the last 24 hours showed, Bitcoin is as unstable as ever, but that's why we love it so much and why speculators just can't stop having enough of it. The warning signs were there though, altcoins were losing crazy ground the entire day while BTC was pumping, so you know people for sure were selling off alts into BTC, and then, when they stopped and sold BTC for fiat, everything collapsed.

Short term though and that's what happens when things go up so fast. It'll be fine.

I believe this as well, however I don't think the time to switch to alts is just yet. BTC is still rising fast, and whilst some alts are also rising, they are not all rising as fast as BTC. So I would say BTC remains the safer bet for the short-term, and then once it starts to slow down it would be the time to move to alts... but that might just be me being a bit risk-averse Smiley

That's right, BTC is a safe asset now because the crypto market conditions are fluctuating heavily. If you hold the current altcoin and bitcoin down then the altcoin will experience a bigger decline than bitcoin. So I now choose to hold bitcoin and wait for the price of bitcoin to stabilize and then buy an altcoin. Because it's useless to hold altcoins now, the price won't experience a big increase when bitcoin rises.
Because you will be in the competition with another trader to liquidate your altcoin to the bitcoin as soon as possible while that coin doesn't have a big volume to prevent it.
We will not see any bull trend for altcoin until bitcoin will have stabilized and the volatility gets decreased.

In the condition of the market now that btc is the strongly to gain the highest price and altcoin still hard to go in the flow, i think you can stick to btc for the better but of course there still alts that good to buy just choose wisely.

I don’t even know if it makes sense to buy Bitcoins and ETH today, especially when the prices for these coins are already showing good results.  Two months ago, investing in Bitcoin ethereum looked much more profitable, and it would be necessary to show interest at that very moment.

Yeah i also think it would be great if we bought bitcoin couple months ago. But if we buy it now, i think it is a little bit too late. My prediction, the price of bitcoin will still grow higher, although its too late, bitcoin will give you profit in the future if we keep it as long investment.
