I've been accumulating btc ever since the huge dump in December, now I'm switching to alt-coins. I strongly believe that alt-coins will experience a mini bull run vs btc in the following months.
Things look like it'll be Bitcoin the one experiencing a bull period very soon and then alts will follow the same uptrend. With that in mind, it's a pretty bad idea to completely switch to alts.

I'm thinking to split 20% btc 15% eth and 65% other alt-coins.
I feel like your allocation on alts is a bit excessive. Just because your going to invest in more low market cap coins (which is a terrible idea to begin with, if you ask me), doesn't mean that you'll profits will be bigger, in fact, you're actually risking some of your investment in those coins since they're nothing but a gamble, they may or may no increase in value in the long run.

You should prepare for the Altcoin now because the Bitcoin is reviving it's value and trying to cross the $6000 foot mark which is very crucial point to further upward travel. But, still the Altcoins prices are now on the ground level and if increase it will be a sudden spike. So, you have to act now for investing into altcoins. Choose the ADA and TRON for your first choice.

If I'm in your shoes, I would put majority on bitcoin though. Nothing against altcoins but it seems that most of the coins you listed as just for pure pump and dump scheme. Why not go 60% of bitcoin and spread the next 40% of altcoins? I'm just curious though as to why you chooses those altcoins. Did you DYOR or just join the bandwagon? Anyways, I'm not good at giving financial advises, so best of luck to you and your investments.

Up until now I've accumulated, in the latest 3 weeks, several strong alt-coins but I'm also willing to gamble a bit with lower market-cap projects with strong development and community. That being said, right now I've already bought or I'm looking into:

Kucoin shares
Zilliqa
ZCash
Elastos
Webdollar
Dent

What you guys think? What would you improve?
What projects do come to mind if low market-cap projects with active development and lots of potential is the goal Cheesy?

Any comments would be great! Thanks!
I hope you can try to avoid to invest in zcash and dent. both look so terrible for me because it was getting dumped by the developers and just try to put it in another coin rather than getting dumped by the developers and your money will have gone. We have a lot of potential coin just like veil and sins. it much better to buy masternode rather than put your money on dent webdollar zcash and zilliqa. They are all having a lot of issues and lack of update.

Everybody is looking for low market cap coins with 10x or more potential, but, I'm afraid other people's opinions can't help you, really. I used to buy crypto based on opinions of so called experts. Sometimes they were right, more often not so. I might have had better chances to guess it right by flipping a coin. Or even better, not being lazy and doing my own research.

That being said, here are some of my thoughts about some of them:

Kucoin shares - not really crypto, similar to shares in any other company. The question is how much do you trust Kucoin?
Zilliqa - competitor of Ethereum, with some novel technological achievements, for example, sharding
ZCash - privacy coin with optional privacy??, I personally don't like the power the dev team has given to itself.

I dont know if you were really familiar with those coins because I have not read about it yet maybe you know well about it and I dont know anything to it, Since you were holding btc since december why you dont want to stick with it? since the price are silently doing some noise rather than gambling to a coin that is not well known in the market. This is just my suggestion in the end your decision will do.

PS: I saw the price of dent and webdollar, you better avoid those coins also the ziliqa
