I still believe best longterm coin is Stratis
I think for me the best bag is dash, monero, sumocoin, waves, etc, ltc, eth and of course NEO! Also ripple is good, bitcoin cash also
Personally I have gone for a mixed bag to include:

- Shift
- Ardor
- Radium

Altcoin for long term is good i think is ETH and waves.
Because many project use their platform so it prove that they are is a good altcoin and have a future for invest long term

For me the most suitable coins for long-term are Neo, LTC, ETH, Zencash, Zcoin, Golem, Ripple, Factom, etherum. Those are strong coins with quality team.
To be honest i HODL all those coins.
You might aussi invest in Sumocoin and Terracoin, as market coin is so small.

Ethereum classic is always my main choice. It is undervalued for many years and right now it is the best time for it to rise. Even if it can not increase its price right now, in the next year, it will increase. As you can see, ethereum classic contains many features inside and it is the same as ethereum. And its price is much cheaper
My long term alt coin is definitely ethereum. It's the only coin I feel safe holding regardless of the day to day fluctuations of the price point. Any of those other coins I feel the need to constantly monitor and trade. I never sell my ethereum and always feel safe in the belief it will continue to grow in value.
I agree with you. Beside BTC, best one for long term in my opinion is ETH.

I prefer to be stored in ETH looks safe, because the nature of the system from eth is not directly controlled by humans and the situation of the coinya movement is quite stable.

I don't have an idea to what are the specific coins to hold for long term but in my opinion it is good to hold at least the top 5 altcoins in the market because they already built a good trading volume and a good progress for their coin and if you are planning to hold them for long term then you can have a chance to earn money from them.
I think there are a lot of Altcoins right now, that are good for a long term investment. One of my favorites is Waves, they are in a good position on the Russian market and I heard theyre going to have some nice announcements in the next couple of month. I am not going to sell my waves before next year. Because waves is a nice underdog that is going to perform very nice in 2018!
I agree with that i see waves have a great performance in 2018 so better to hold for now but i dont see it for a longterm if there is more good performance that waves to see maybe i would probably hold it for another year. A good altcoin that you can stock in large quantity in long term is waves. I suggest waves because this particular coin is undervalued right now. It is also the one that has most potential right now because of the updates it had undergone in the past. It is also quite stable in it's low price right now so it is a good time to accumulate waves.

yeah I agree with you, investment in ethereum is very promising, let alone the vision and mission is very clear,
