altcoin is currently too influenced by the bitcoin movement, so that every bitcoin experiences a dump, altcoin will also follow it and so is vice versa. And of course this is very sad, but it seems that the dominance of bitcoin over will continue for the next few years.

Most of the top altcoins are believed they can change the world of cryptocurrency.
And some of them did. As ETH, XRP, chage the way we lock at altcoins. And reconsider them again.
But some like XVG, DGB change someone's life forever ^^

yeah right, it's because of the price of bitcoin that moves quickly with pumps and dumps, so that makes all altcoin fall

You are right, many new and old altcoins don't have a clear vision. Altcoin with characters like that will easily fall and will not be strong in the market. It really depends on the team as well. If the team managing the project are not making any efforts at all, then those coins will definitely not go anywhere at all. Quality coins that are making efforts to be listed on Binance and make real partnerships happen are the ones that usually show good traction. A coin with a healthy community and well ran team will surely go places.

It's not good but we have no choice but to accept the reality.

Bitcoin this year have some good price improvement compared to last year, but altcoins are lagging behind, most of the improvement are only from major altcoins but not all of them, there only few as even ETH does not perform well this year.

It's a test for us, whales can manipulate to look the market bad and the weak hands will panic, but we do believe on the altcoins we are investing, we will not panic, instead, we find ways to accumulate as this is a good opportunity for us.

Most people are really disappointed on altcoin performance its suffer from the hard fall when bitcoin goes up altcoin down and when bitcoin down altcoin goes down this is a scenario of altcoin in this current year. But I'm still believe when bitcoin back to its all time high altcoin will follow but right now be careful to pick altcoin.

The market decides which coins will survive in the bear market, traders usually follow the top market performers. Altcoins are not going to hit the high prices unless the $ worth correlation gets broken with the calculated cost of BTC .l can not deny this fact that the price of altcoins depends on the price of BTC. l mean when the price went up the price of altcoins went up, it was something related to the series of the event which can't be anticipated by the inexperienced traders. Nowadays the price of altcoins go down, it doesn't matter BTC goes up or down regarding the last occurrence. Surely, if the price of BTC can stay stable for a year the other cryptocurrencies will remain on the desired level by the traders.

Altcoins still in the red zone since last year even that bitcoin already pumped. But, the problem is alcoin that with real project don't care about how much the coin/token worth, they must be develop their product what ever the market situation.
