Altcoins keep getting red, this could also have been influenced by the continuous fall of bitcoin, once bitcoin gains stability, I believe some altcoin will gain some green movement. The direction of altcoin is mainly influenced by the direction of bitcoin.
That attention you need given to some altcoins depends is what the cryptoarjet needs now for altcoins rally to set in. Most big investors concentrate only on accumulating bitcoin these days leaving the altcoins.
Altcoins today are struggling , yes no doubt about that but if much attentions are giving to some altcoins with lots of potentials, i think it will make altcoins standout in the market. although some altcoins lacks vision and there are several coins i believe will defintely change the market positively.
Altcoins that lacks vision are more than altcoins with vision, and that is why when people look at altcoins, they generalize them and condemn them based on the number of bad ones among them, I think it is high time that some coins leave the altcoins market. What I mean by them leaving is that they need to stop being classified as altcoins because they have so much potential and are great coins like bitcoin, and rather than looking for another name, I think they can still retain that altcoins, and then we have a name like shitcoins recognized on coinmarketcap, and then they move those thousands of visionless project to the group so that we can all focus on bitcoin and some of these potential coins like Ethereum, Binance, stellar and mostly top 50 coins.

Yes, they are facing many difficulties because of a long downtrend season. It takes a long time for the market to recover and altcoin can return to their peak value. 
I think this is only normal this is always happen but altcoins will rise up usually in ber month just buy coins when they are down for future investment
But we need to select the right coin to buy because we cannot buy random coins without analyzing one by one to find the potential coin to increase in the future. This moment is normal, and we can see it happen in many times but one thing that we almost forget that in the bear market, we can buy a lot of coins with a discount price and then we can hold it for a while until the price can reach the higher price. That will help us to make more profit than the last year.
Many current problems with altcoin, with the growth of quite a lot of new projects it will have an impact on altcoin as well. but we know that many projects have cheated and have even become scams. so it certainly has an impact on altcoin, although there are still projects that are responsible and make altcoin a bit elevated as well.

Doesn't matter it is altcoins season or not. If coin or token is good - that is always good an doesn't matter what is current market situation. Good projects already bring a good profit for investors.
And good projects remain stable with their stand in the market. That's how the market reacts when a project seems to be good, it won't just die quickly. If that project has something, it will be noticed and taken seriously by altcoin investors, I'm also an altcoin investor but I'm focusing with few that has big names in the market. And to know if the project is good depends on how good you are at scouting and what are your standards. Am thinking, if only investors will loom the way of altcoins and put in their investments more there, the expected altcoins rally will surely come. Much more investments are put in bitcoin and this has really put the altcoins at a tight spot.
Investors did well but isn't enough to push the market into moving high. We cannot just rely into investors, we need more users at this point to make it recover. What make sense if only be considering this crypto as investment? Supposedly, it gonna be consider as currency also as it meant to be.

At first I was thinking of selling all my altcoins and to better hold btc, but after giving it a second thought, I made up my mind to face whatever will happen and of course, I believe that altcoins, most especially the good ones with working products will still grow significant, no matter what might be happening in the cryptoverse.

I thought that altcoin can´t fall more, but I was wrong.
You will not see the problem when you look at USD value, the problem is in BTC value, altcoins are falling, while BTC is growing (300% profit this year).

Altcoins are falling because of bitcoin. Bitcoin is about to get out of $10k and potentially will come under it. The market sure is disappointing to look at these days but that's the proper time to get some more.
Forget those altcoins that doesn't have vision or lacks of it. Focus with those notable coins that has a working progress rather than be a fan of those that you have but doesn't show a progress.

Altcoin cannot go up well if the market continues its downward trend in this period. Today we see the price drop of many large coins and this market is in a very bad period so I believe this year is not good for investment. Currently only a few bad news can make many investors panic sell and it is happening in a more popular way. I believe that if there is no improvement in price, it is certain that this market will only decrease and it will be very difficult to grow again
Yes, many alts went down like Ethereum which goes again below $200. I thought that it's the support but there's more to go and a plus that everything is still possible to happen. Don't conclude that this year isn't a good time for investing.
At this period, I think this is more the right term for that. We're just experiencing the dips currently but don't assume that this year isn't the best time to invest.
So many altcoins are baseless, especially those without any record of development updates so far, ever since they were launched. Some top altcoins still give hope with development, especillay those like BAT, LINK, ATOM, TRX, EOS and a few others with remarkable progress. It's high time team members of crypto projects started thinking how their tokens can have a real world use case, not just listing on exchanges and dumping as most do.
I still think altcoins are about to break up a big increase soon, I have been saying this for far too long and I know that it doesn't look like it will happen and many times when we said its up to increase soon and it dropped instead but how long do you really think altcoins can go low, it must be at some point an increase that would make it go at least 50% high for most of them.

Now is a very good time, as for me, to buy altcoins. Because they are growing very well and the price is now very low. I think this is a good opportunity to make money in the future.

Yes. Don't know what the reason for such fall. But I still believe crypto and all will go up again. 2020 is approaching. So new ATH should come.
The next block reward halving for Bitcoin is approaching and that is probably why you are so optimistic about 2020. But that event may have an impact just on the Bitcoin prices and not for altcoins. Altcoins will continue to go down, and I won't be surprised if the Bitcoin dominance increases to 75% by the end of 2019 and 90% by the end of 2020.
Basically, I am also confused by the altcoin market. When the bitcoin market is good, altcoin seems to be just flat. There were no significant developments. Is it possible it's all, because ICO scam in the past. So that many people are starting to not believe in altcoin?

Now the greatest potential is for altcoins, which have smart contracts and on the basis of which tokens are created. As soon as the new season of altcoins begins, so immediately they will sharply go to price increases, you will see.
