I don not see altcoins crushing bitcoin in price and trading. The name bitcoin is the name that comes to mind when cryptocurrency is been mentioned in addition, the way bitcoin is programmed, it is just difficult or impossible to beat it, the level of trust on the bitcoin network is second to none and it is the foundation of the Crypto-world or simply put Bitcoin is the King.

I believe that we can`t compare bitcoin and all altcoins. You can consider bitcoin and some particular concrete altcoin. In this case, some altcoins have advantages over bitcoin. But despite this, bitcoin is by far the best crypto currency, combining the maximum number of advantages.

If you check the technology, there are better developped blockchains comparing with bitcoin. some of them are faster and have a better network size.
If you check as an investor, you can use altcoins to increase your bitcoin amount. sometimes altcoins can be really very profitable when you can not earn money by trading bitcoin.

It's impossible that there will be an altcoin that's going to crush bitcoin in terms of price but I have seen some exchanges that there are other coins that's dominating in terms of volume.

I think at this time, the implementation of decentralized system has been better in altcoin, this has an impact on bitcoin, investors are more interested in investing in altcoin than bitcoin. so the purchase of bitcoin is less and the sales are much higher, so the bitcoin price goes down.

I think bitcoin is better than Altcoins for now and also for future too. Bitcoin is most popular and trusted crypto currency. Bitcoin price is also higher than other crypto currency. For this many people start their crypto currency job with Bitcoin and many investors choose Bitcoin for investment instead of other crypto currency. Bitcoin is mainly famous for its Blockchain technology which make it upgrade in between other crypto currency. Bitcoin is accepted in many country and many online retailer and people use it instead of other crypto currency. So because of above reason i think bitcoin is better than Altcoins.

They are not better than bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the best coin and even though altcoins are now becoming very important by their own right but there is no way that they are better than bitcoin. Bitcoin still has a long way to go and there is still a lot left to happen so we will just have to wait for it and see what happens. As for altcoins, there is a lot ahead and I can't wait for it either.

i believe altcoins have future, its not that Bitcoin is already godlike and because it has a golden value or have very high price is that its perfect coin already, but it still has its flaws and lacks some things just like its digit in decimal place its somewhat very difficult to read for other people and some famous american citizen didn't even know what bitcoin is. That's why altcoins are created to fill the gap that bitcoin lacks.

I think in the crypto world it might just happen. However, for now and some time to come the bitcoin will still be king. If altcoin wants to take over its position, it certainly takes a long time as well as a larger community of bitcoin.

the statement does not seem right. I think both are equally need each other. should be able to walk along, and support each other. the taste is not complete if you're a true trader but did not have both. Definitely save your bitcoin for the long term, and also altcoin for short.

I dont think that is possible because all of the alt coins power is scattered around, and you can see the bitcoin domination against the alt coins, unless all people unite and discard all the alt coins until there is only one alt coin then maybe that price can heavily affect the bitcoin price and the trading volume

I think it's impossible because Altcoin is a subordinate of bitcoin and while the parent bitcoin of all altcoin hence from that I am sure, but I know that bitcoin can not live without altcoin and altcoin too so, therefore, I think altcoin is not as good as bitcoin

They are complementary, bitcoin is the flagship and the rest are coins that have their own space most of the times anyway. My favourites are tokens in fact.
