Keep in mind that altcoin performance can vary widely and should not be generalized across the board. While some altcoins may not perform well, others show significant growth and adoption. Also, the cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility, and it is not uncommon for prices to fluctuate rapidly. Therefore, it is important to conduct thorough research and analysis before making any investment decisions, including investing in altcoins.

Dead altcoins? Like estheblessed (OP) say, I think that's a bit of an oversimplification as altcoin performance can vary widely, with some experiencing growth and adoption. However, it is very important to be aware of the volatility of the cryptocurrency market, where prices can fluctuate rapidly. Yes. it's good advice before making an investment decision to be informed in advance whether doing basic or thorough research and analysis is very important, especially when considering altcoins.

To be honest I don't think altcoins are dead,
because as far as I know my favorite altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, Ripple and even XLM still exist on the market and coinmarketcap,
then why do some people say altcoins are dead?, yes indeed some of the altcoins are dead but we can still analyze them before buying.

Not quite right. Some altcoins do die, even those that were in the top cmc. Look at the history of cmc for example for 7 years. And you will realise that altcoins don't last long. That is, there is always the risk of buying a coin at the "bottom" and it will never grow again.
that's right so many altcoins are actually hardly rising from their grave, they just died out, even the top coins out there aren't different either so many top coins are losing market capitalisation nowadays, that's the harsh truth.
I think those coins that are currently in the top cmc in the next bull market will be replaced by other projects. No one needs to moonlight for coin holders like dot or ada. But new projects like sui, aptos are more technologically advanced and could easily make it to the top. The time for altcoins is going very fast.
It's true that the development of this new project is absolutely amazing and maybe it's only a matter of time to see it at the top of CMC rankings,
it would be great if more and more new projects like that,
we'll see what it will be like in the future.
There are projects that are simply improving an old project product which makes them more attractable. Altcoins product are just keep improving, Imagine the product of top 100 altcoins from the last 7 years and compared it today. Some of those top 100 altcoin in the last 7 years becomes obsolete because of the lack of utility and just died out. I believe that this cycle will just keep repeating unless projects realized the project evolution is important and should be done to stay relevant to the current market demands.
I think the usefulness of altcoins is invented by altcoin developers. It all depends on how much you believe in a particular project until you are completely disappointed in it. Almost all altcoins are worthless. There are a few projects that have carved out a niche in the market and have applications, e.g. eth, monero. Even Ripple is useless so far, just promises. Therefore, it is better to sell coins and forget about them, investing in new ones in the future.

It's true tha old coins are nearly dead now. XLM and DOT which was known best coins in 2021-2022 has disappointed their buyers. if someone already invested foe five years, he has not earn any profit and it's seem that these coins will not rise in short term. New coins has been replaced and are worth buying it. SUI, ARB, OP and Aptos are best coins now and in the next years we may see other big coins which not launched yet.

No way that altcoins are dead, in fact altcoins has its own season that really make a good rally which make a good indications and gives sentiments it has a good momentum and sentiments into crypto market. For now, market is in bear market and altcoins are still dependents of what Bitcoin does that's why it is also a opportunities to buy the altcoins you love to have for the next bull market.

Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?
Of the several coins I will choose eth. The coin is suitable for long-term investment. The price that tends to be stable will not give us much loss.

Does this have anything to do with the SEC having designated some crypto assets as securities. But in my opinion apart from all that ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON are coins or tokens that have different characteristics and functions, for investment I think it doesn't matter as long as there is no information from the market that the coin/token is in the dead coin category as stated you mentioned.
both related and unrelated, the issue you mentioned about the SEC makes me think of manipulation of power with statements that I think cause a lot of danger to newcomers who just look at them surface of the problem. We all understand the volatility of this market, or rather to be honest its current size is still too small and very easily manipulated by information, but over time I think many people will have the skill ability to reassess what's going on in this market, and what it's really solving, not just a financial game.

True, although in the end those who are just learning will understand in the end how it all plays and works. I'm just giving an honest understanding and I think it's better that way, because the world of crypto is complex and many things are interrelated and there are always obstacles that cross. I think this is a twist in the journey of the crypto world where in the end they will all admit they need it too and will adopt it.

I still believe in altcoins and for me altcoins are not dead,
indeed I saw that this year a lot of altcoins died and even largecap could also be affected by something like that,
but that also happened in 2019-2020 where many altcoins also died, so that's all it depends on us,
if we hold a really good altcoin then the altcoin certainly won't die.

Altcoins Dead? yes some have died, and we cannot deny it, but we need to know that there are lots of altcoins that are still alive and have strong foundations,
for example BNB, ETH, XRP and XLM and many more,
what I mentioned is the large cap and you don't need to worry that the four altcoins are very safe compared to the ones that are already bankrupt like FTT, CEL, or LUNA,
so if you say altcoins are dead, they are dead, but not all of them are dead.

Crypto will always go up and down due demand and supply theory and interesting to know that this post was made last year when bear market was at it's worst but things have improved and continue to improve ever since, that's crypto cycle, During the bear market, some altcoins will give away leaving stronger coins to keep existing which is good for crypto market

Altcoins are promising investment opportunities in the cryptocurrency market, but not all of them guarantee profits in the long run. Some experience significant drops during bearish periods and struggle to recover or sustain their value. However, it's important to note that altcoins shouldn't be dismissed solely based on market capitalization or trading volume. It is crucial to thoroughly analyze and understand the specific altcoin you intend to invest in, considering its potential for growth and resilience. While there have been instances of altcoin crashes in the past, it is a common occurrence in the market and should not discourage investors from exploring their options.

I don't think altcoins are dead but rather altcoins are cheap now. So this is an opportunity to invest in altcoins at low cost. But of course the pumping of some altcoins will be relatively low. I don't want to call this altcoin dead. But the coins you mentioned are the top coins in the market and they will definitely be pumped.
Correct. I agree with you that altcoins are not dead. Especially if the altcoins that are in the top coins on the market are hard to die for. sometimes people always speculate if altcoins die when they see altcoin prices so low. People who speculate like that are usually new people in cryptocurrency or those who are carried away by emotions so that type of people like that tend to always experience losses in investing or trading in cryptocurrency.
Not quite right. Some altcoins do die, even those that were in the top cmc. Look at the history of cmc for example for 7 years. And you will realise that altcoins don't last long. That is, there is always the risk of buying a coin at the "bottom" and it will never grow again.
