Its never gonna happen altcoin will ever dead if bitcoin alive forever then altcoin also will alive forever. Yes here is some of altcoin future never gonna bright but not all of sometimes good altcoin take market position with there usecases even its go to top on market.!

Actually, there are altcoins which we all should consider to be already dead, in my opinion. If a coin does not comply with a min of use or utility it will end up dead. Also, scam coins end up abadoned, it is just matter of time.

I'd dare to say if any altcoin has a price graph like this one, could be suspected to be dead.

Yes, I think it could just be a temporary dip that will be followed by a recovery. In addition, it is important to distinguish between the different types of altcoins, as their prospects can vary widely depending on the use case, development team, and community support.

On the other hand, some altcoins may be poorly positioned to weather a market downturn or to attract continued interest from investors and users. Factors that can affect the prospects for these coins include cryptocurrency competition, other factors, regulatory challenges or technical issues.

The outlook for ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON, and other altcoins will depend on a variety of factors, including market sentiment, use cases and adoption rates, development progress, community support, and regulatory factors.

That Bitcoin is alive doesn't guarantee that every other altcoins will survive. I have witnessed this phase we are in many times, it's more like a new altcoin lifecycle. Many altcoins that have nothing to offer or that are not well developed will surely die while new set of altcoins with utility will be developed and come to dominate. If you must invest in altcoins it will be better to consider new and promising projects.

Existing altcoins are often replaced by new ones as people move on to the next big thing in crypto (except some old ones that are still "delivering the goods"). If you get into altcoins, don't expect your investment to last unlike Bitcoin. They're only good for short-term profits. Every bull market is an opportunity to sell altcoins for a profit, so I'd suggest you buy the dip now to achieve peace of mind in the near future.

No matter which altcoin comes out at the top, none can replace Bitcoin as the leading cryptocurrency in the world. Not even ETH has come close to BTC in terms of mainstream adoption and market dominance. Who knows which will be the next altcoins to take over existing ones in the future? Just my thoughts Grin
Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is the king of altcoins. But I'm not sure ETH won't overtake bitcoin in terms of market capitalisation. I have concerns that sooner or later that might happen, because there is a lot built on ETH. It's probably going to be bitcoin's number one for me and you forever. But looking at how the States are lobbying for Ethereum and there is heavy censorship of the network, it seems to me that bitcoin has a competitor. But I hope that doesn't happen.

As long as bitcoin is alive, alt coin will never die. We still on bear market it just a phase. Actually this is a good time to invest on alt coin. Everyone talking about next bitcoin halving will be a sign for bull market. I think it is true because i already feel that on 2017 and 2021.

In the Crypto market, the competition between cryptocurrencies (altcoins) is becoming increasingly fierce. With over 10,000 different cryptocurrencies, it becomes extremely important to evaluate and choose the right altcoins to invest in. However, this competition also means that investors have more opportunities to find and invest in potential altcoins. New altcoins can provide investors with greater investment opportunities than major and popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. And we have to acknowledge the fact that things that don't adapt will be lost in the crypto space.

the price of bitcoin has indeed increased significantly compared to the price of altcoins, but that doesn't mean altcoins are dead, there are still many altcoins that survive and in my opinion it's only a matter of time until it's altcoins' turn to rise again
Usually, if bitcoin increases, it will be affected by altcoins, so if altcoins do not increase, it means that the altcoins are starting to become unattractive to investors, so don't buy them.
indeed at this time many altcoins are growing and also many altcoins are dying because they cannot develop, so you really have to choose altcoins carefully.
agree with you that altcoins are not dead, there are still many that are good and can develop well, just analyze at CMC.

Crypto has its own market cycle and it is normal for a coin/token to fall down hence bull market already ended 2021. The next cycle will be on 2025 and it will be huge one because it is the halving of bitcoin that proceeds a great market cycle for bull seasons again. Every four years bull and bear market repeating the cycle which is why this year will be the time to accumulate more.
So what makes you say that the next halving will happen in 2025? Is it because the halving took place in 2017 and 2021 so you conclude that halvings happen every 4 years?
then what about the halving that happened in 2021 because in 2021 the halving happened twice which caused bitcoin to reach ATH twice a year?
My point is that the crypto market is unpredictable and no one knows when the next halving will occur, it could be less or more than 4 years and it could happen in 2025 or 2024.

Bitcoin Halving Year 🎗️🎭
April 05, 2023, 09:38:52 AM
Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?

I think Altcoin will never die as long as Bitcoin exists. You will notice that there is a lot of volume in the market for XRP, ADA, TRON, ETH, these altcoins. Especially in the current market, many people have invested and held a lot of these coins. and Ethereum is one of the best and most popular platform that is currently suitable for massive investment. and Ethereum is known as the king of altcoins so I don't think altcoins will ever die as long as Bitcoin reigns supreme across cryptocurrencies.

Most of the time bitcoin halving brings huge influence with how the market turned from bear to bull, it's based on how we experienced those times when halving is coming or after the halving as long as the situation is near from the halving season we see effects and those who manage to keep patience in waiting to see the great strong bull.

They are the lucky investors who will take away huge chunks of profits out from the market. Having good trust and combined everything with enough patience will give you a chance to harvest every single benefit.

altcoin will never die, because there are still many investors who believe to investing in altcoin, indeed for now the price of altcoin has fallen very far from the ATH price, but this is actually your opportunity to invest in altcoin that you want to invest, because if the price goes back up to ATH price or even create a new ATH price, then of course you will get a lot of profit from investing in altcoin at this time.

Altcoins are now part of the cryptocurency market and those that love only Bitcoin has to start accepting the fact that altcoins are now an important part of the market and they're needed for traders to make profits.

Not all altcoins are useless as majority of the coins appear, you can still make money from them which is why many traders and investors are still very much interested in altcoins that's in the market.

We also have new altcoins been developed and them too will be getting huge investment in the bull market that'll be starting soon. Altcoins will always look appealing to invest since they can give the best return.

I agree many people will keep investing in altcoins since many people hope to see the altcoin that they invest will 20x in the next bull run. Also, altcoins will make something like NFT, Games P2E, metaverse, etc. go booming because of many altcoins become the bridge to those people who want to invest in those projects.

I don't think altcoins are ever going to die. People enjoy the chance of 10000x'ing or getting scammed too much. It also depends if you call ETH an altcoin or not (I personally wouldn't but many would and that's a fair point of view).

Altcoins will die but new ones will always be invented since we have greedy people among us as creators or investors that'll always want the new and pumping trends as such they'll be scammed regularly.

Altcoins are any other cryptocurrency that aren't Bitcoin so Ethereum will always be an altcoin. There's no other description for what altcoins are. You can divide them though into coins and tokens.

In this case you can then classify Ethereum as a coins since they have their own blockchain and native token meanwhile other projects that operates on other projects blockchain are called tokens

I have lost faith in alt coin section because alt coin sections don't see a lot of price increase even though bitcoin price is increasing nowadays. AltCoin section also goes down when Bitcoin price goes down. Of the few coins mentioned here, only Ethereum grows in a standard way but unique platforms remain in front of the masses.  So altcoin sections are said to be dead.
It becomes something that is very reasonable actually, because apart from anything, altcoins clearly lead bitcoin as a benchmark, even though not all of them are like that, most of them are clearly under bitcoin. When bitcoin experiences an increase, then of course there are some of them who start to follow even though not significantly, but when bitcoin starts to fall again and again then indeed their fate will be even more inflamed and not even a few die so indeed with conditions like this it is actually quite reasonable but indeed if you still want to be there, then it is important for us to pay close attention to what coin we will choose in altcoins because not all altcoins can work well.

I got into 'crypto' when alts were pumping in 2020, money was literally pouring out of GUIs that had been built over a weekend and you could cash it all out, all good.

Since Wonderland, Luna, Celcius, FTX etc... happened alt coins have been DYING absolutely destroyed, I could have bought WAAAAY more Bitcoin. Luckily i got 75% of my portfolio into bitcoin after FTX.

I have a bunch of altcoins still that I think will easily outperform Eth and any other over inflated piece of trash during the next mega pump cycle (if there is one...) but I honestly want to just take the loss into BTC immediately to have peace of mind.

I have tried ALL  the altcoins, I will only interact with the ones pouring out money during the up market. Most of the 'top 10' alt coins are just such trash on their own, have huge centralized minters printing like crazy, and generally have 'exploits' every year which now I think is basically like taking insurance out on your house and burning it for those altcoin devs.

Anyway yea be careful unless you have balls of steel.

For example arbitrum people (founder dev connected to obama whitehouse) just airdropped tons of money onto people practically out of nowhere, Im glad to see such a thing but cannot imagine this bodes well for the underlying token which is being handed out to tons of degenerate traders. Shit is mega weird and if youre not careful you will just get scammed down the toilet by some fat guy named Daniele Sestagali.

cheers

I do think that each cycle it will change a little bit though. Freshen up the scams if you will. Originally it was altcoins. Then it was ICOs, then it was DeFi season. Then NFTs.

Next up appears to be L2s and L3s on Ethereum. But that is really hard to predict. Because if one truly knew they could front run the 1000x's. But I can say with certainly it will be -something-.

There's always money to be made with altcoins. That's because they often bring new stuff to the industry. I cannot say the same about Bitcoin (although it's possible to profit in the long term). To say the least, altcoins are the ideal "tool" for scammers to rob people blind. That's because most people don't do their own research when investing in crypto.

The trend will never fade away, but you can expect regulations to increase on the industry as governments want a "piece of the pie". Just don't go crazy putting all of your life savings into altcoins, and you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin

They're not really going to increase at most times because they won't be. The market is all focused to bitcoin and even them are also focused on it.

There will be times that they'll be increasing with or without bitcoin's price increase and that's given to think of. And that's why if you're mostly invested into altcoins, you invest in bitcoin then.
