price of altcoins is depend when some people bought a lot of it and the orice will likely drop down when some one dump their coins,, its not easy to predict what will happen to the price of coins, we know that there are " whales" out there
the government has some policies to limit bitcoin. some investors stopped investing in bitcoin. so the price of bitcoin fell. the market is affected by the decline in Bitcoin, and altcoin is also falling. this is a chain reaction

Actually, it is not only altcoins which market value are falling but most of the cryptos in the market. The downfall hav3 started at the beginning of this yeap up until the present. There's no certain reason behind this situation but one thing is for sure, holding is the right thing to do to avoid regret once increase happen.
Not only altcoins are falling in price, the main coins, too, because the market is proportional, if the market falls, then everything becomes cheaper. A hard truth to live with.

yes you are right a few months ago altcoin prices have decreased in price because there is bad news and because bitcoin prices fall so many altcoin that fall in price. with the fall of altcoin prices at cheap prices you can avail by buying them for profit because the price is still very cheap.
usually the price of the altcoins are linked to the price of the bitcoin because at the end most people change from altcoin to bitcoin or ethereum and then to fiat or hodl, but these weeks the bitcoin is going up so we can expect a rise of the altcoins too, yesterday the marketcap were pretty good, recovering little by little, if btc arrives tomorrow at 8000$ would be great news to start the day off

yes it's because of the effect of bitcoin prices that used to decrease in price and there is bad news of cryptocurrency so much that panic and make them sell at cheap price and finally altcoin also fall but now the price of cryptocurrency has started to go up again.

from the first month in this year, altcoin is dropping significantly and reach the lowest price but now, altcoin is trying to increase back after the deep down. and I think for the rest of this year, we can see that the altcoin can increase higher again and besides that, bitcoin show a good sign to increase back and we are now at $7633 according to bittrex market. and if the situations are like this, then we can see the price will increase higher because there will be many people that want to invest their money in cryptocurrency, especially for the new people.

Hey dude, that has passed a few months ago and even the majority of the hacked case right now don't give a huge impact to the price of bitcoin and all of altcoins. You should try to identified the real reason behind that. in fact that you can try to see how good the market is. More stable and it has been gaining more support. If market is not in good state, lets buy coins for it is in lower price. It is just stabilizing it will back next month. Never stop believing!

It's so bad that altcoins are dependent on Bitcoin, that means none of these coins are free. I hope that it's over now with dropping and we will go until Tuesday up.

Bitcoin is dropping. All altcoins are following the Bitcoin. If bitcoin price falling, altcoins always doing this same.But there are few altcoins that rising in this markets situations.
This situation has changed! Look at graphs and you will see. Bitcoin is growing because many people are selling their worthless coins (sh**coins=altcoins) and buying Bitcoin. And I think that this may cause that most altcoins will die in 2018 because big institutional investors wont invest into these coins
