Prices are really disappointing, i was holding some good projects like bat and atl but they are also struggling, atl token price has been very down and continuously going down just check the chart on cmc, some do say that it is good opportunity to buy more but i want to see some recovery in the market before getting in again.

all depend on bitcoin. because the bitcoin decreases then altcoin decreases. but maybe next week or next month there will be a slight increase.

no this is not the main reason. just because it's an argument discussed from december 2017 and already described with tons of blog post and news even in famous papers.
most of altcoins are dropping because we are going to have summer holidays (trader keep profit and sold some position). Plus one year ago the whole market was 1/5 of today value. it's pretty normal see a correction.

The whole crypto market is bleeding, even btc. Btc has long proven to control the market price and once it falls, almost all altcoin falls.
The mother is also dropping wild so it's expected. Really really hard to trade now and maybe you could just try to invest in some ICOs or with those low volatility. Perhaps get out for now and trade in other traditional ones.

Bitcoin did not lose so much as many altcoins managed to do. I feel very sorry when I see how my favorites are falling. I hope, they will recover in less than 2 months.

Whenever there is a major price drop, the fall in value of altcoins will be very big. This is possible to be retained only when the price of bitcoin as well the head of altcoins increase. One of my holdings have gone as low as $0.006 from the value around $0.1 months back. I don't know what is gonna happen further, such drop gets recovered or not. Just with the hope having patience to experience a good pumping.
You do not tell us which coin you are talking about but a 94% drop in the price in just a matter of months does not speak very well for the future of the coin especially when the market has decreased on average something between 60% to 70%, if you still believe in the coin and its future then you could buy now that is cheap but if you do not believe in the coin any longer it could be a good idea to wait for a small price increase and then sell. Because Bitcoin is dropping. All altcoins are following the Bitcoin. The crypto market does not look good.

Reason is news i think. Hack of exchange in korea is one of thereason so bad news always dump the cryptocureency. I think this is the ending but in reality is not. Good news now have no big impact but why 1 bad news make the crypto dump very bad.

Well, if this news is true, I would be surprised that exchanges get involved into such manipulation. I thought it was the big players who alone are manipulating and suppressing the prices. I doubt manipulations arent true at first, but later on I just realized and understood how the market moves.
Since btc falls, all the coins are going downhill, so let's see where the end will go

The trick is to have money on the side to buy these dips. It is hard to take money out of crypto, but a succesful strategy is buying these dips. Like any market it will fluctuate.
The market is falling, I see the market falling regularly, so there is no reason for us to worry. Try to wait for good things to come to you.Panic selling is the key for those extra falls that happen. If people do hold their coins it would not fall much and in fact it will rise more quickly as buyers will not be getting coin easily and will be able to pay more for the coins. But only few understand this concept.
I am really curious about those panic sellers, we know that they sell even at very low prices and I wonder if they regret about it or was there any "regret" when they sell. Trading is very complicated compare to hodling and sometimes the most profitable coins are sold for petty amounts when its price should be very high. Panic selling are profitable to investors but how are we going to make a coin grows like bitcoin and ethereum if we let its price go down very low. Anyways, bitcoin price is dropping as well as the altcoins and this is painful when you have assets. How I wish that people will not be persuaded easily by any bad news circulating or by any negative thoughts so the cryptos will have good prices, not just bitcoin and ethereum.
