The future of altcoin I think a lot of new coins that will show innovation and new technology to attract many altcoin fans. Therefore it will affect the price of old altcoin like ETH and XRP.

If ETH and XRP do not make new innovations, they will be left with new coins of the future. Future competition will be tighter.

I invest in a number of potential altcoins such as Eth, ltc, eos, and bnb so I'm not too worried about the presence of new coins appearing in this market. I believe that the altcoin that I have now is altcoin which has great potential in the future, if you want to invest in the long term, make sure you invest with Altcoin which has large users or is already in the top 10 in the CMC market.

That's hard to decide especially when the coins that you are holding are significantly down.
To be honest, I just don't think a lot when it comes to my holding, just imagine what the long bear market did to our holding, my investment now is down 80% which is very disappointing if you don't have faith that the market will again recover. We can't do anything to change it now, but maybe in the future things will change for the better, hopefully.

In my opinion, Ncash is the future ruler! Becoz It has many use cases especially in the Retail industry.

for me my philosophy if investing in altcoins is, i need to determine first if an altcoin really makes sense, like ethereum, vechain and many others. I dont invest base on speculative reasons. Those good old altcoins that i mentioned will still be and could always be one of the best until massive adoptions.

Day by day, new coins are generated, it makes me worried on what will happen to the altcoins that i am holding, and i questioned myself, does it worth to hold my altcoins until the next few years, would i be able to cashout all of this? Maybe its time to revisit all my holdings because its going down the prices, and i cannot control,only hold the best one like bitcoin.

altcoins is here to stay so whatever you are thinking don't let anyone dictate your move
its really hard if you loose a lot of cash due to market going down but at the end of the day
the price is not as far or as bad as few years ago so don't let others affect you

All of Altcoins has its own purpose, uses and outcome. all of them had product that might have future that user's continue to use. but mostly for 2019 altcoins are not that convincing, if they deliver the uses of currency or have future to success. nor it will run for long term.

Many Altcoin projects appear on the market, this will create a fierce competition and only really good projects can stand. However, I still put my faith in the old coins, ETH, EOS, LTC ... Those were the coins that affirmed their position in the electronic money market.
