Could anybody recommend a miner for altcoin mining?
Many new altcoins keep flooding the crypto market, many are useless but some are really impressive. With time, some of the projects with no vision will be dead, only those with good project aim, good team, product and great development will survive. Let's just ensure we hold coins with great prospects and not just any shitcoin for long term.
Too many new altcoins claim to have similar use cases. In the long run, only those with solid projects will stand a test of time. The rate at which new altcoins enter the crypto space is alarming, although some come with revamped features. For instance, the rate at which ERC20 deflationary tokens are coming in is really excessive, and most have no project aim. Most of these will be dead with time.
New altcoins will not affect the likes of XRP, ethereum and others this is because each valued coin has it's own potential. Every coin is unique on it's own as long as it's not a worthless token.
I believe altcoins have a great potential and future because its being backed by massive support and high patronage. Also, ethereum is very influential on other alternative coins so I still do believe altcoins will reach far.
I believe that the prices of the oldest coins that are the basis of the price for the new ones. Example, if the eth price drops any coins based on it will fall as well.
The future of altcoins is bright because more people are investing in altcoins each and everyday. Aside that, ethereum is the top leading altcoin in cryptocurrency and every other crypto coin looks up to it.
it depends on the prospect of a new coin, if new coins have great potential it will certainly affect the old altcoin price, because investors will switch to new ones. but if instead I think investors will survive with old coins or coins that have given them profit for investment.
I believe that over time, about 80% of alternative coins will cease to exist and only 20% of high-tech coins with an advanced community will remain.
I see the future of popular altcoins or many users like ethereum have a bright future, because they have great potential for investment, whereas if new coins I think that depends on how the team develops their coins and also about adopting new coins, because demand and supply which will determine the coin to be potential.

Yes, it will affect the price of old altcoin, but the old altcoin which has a good position will not get the most affect. Maybe the weak altcoin will get the affect. The old altcoin like ethereum, xrp, and others will still survive. The altcoin could even defend their position in the market unless the new altcoin can give something different than the old altcoin. Maybe we will see something different in the next bull run but it still a mystery for us to predict what it is.
I think it will be the same as with startups, 90% will eventually die, of the remaining 10% only 1% will truly achieve success.
in my opinion, the more new coins will be, the more interesting it will be, this will be a good competition and of course every coin will maintain its quality, so that coins that are not qualified will disappear and no one will glance at them again. Old coins like ethereum will still include coins that are always taken into account.

The truth remains that we have excess altcoins with atleast 50% of the altcoins not having a single importance

competition is always there in the business world, what else in the crypto world is like this which is growing and favored by businessmen because the profits are quite large. the appearance of the new altcoin indicates that crypto is very popular and well received by the public and business people. the new altcoin does not affect the price of the old altcoin, which actually affects the altcoin price is bitcoin. You can see what happened over the past 3 years with altcoins from the top 10, most of the projects stopped developing and became irrelevant, I think the same thing will happen with most of the coins, more promising projects will appear that put the old ones in the background. 
It's inevitable that there will be a lot of altcoin because as we know , the source code is public.
Getting tight ? Ofcourse, it's become their challenge to made coin that able to take trader's "Heart" and try to compete with bitcoin.

of course it will affect the king of altcoin. especially ethereum is the one that will be most influential on altcoins in the future. I think xrp will provide quite fierce competition with ethereum and other altcoins such as bnb, litecoin and also for btg.
it might be interesting if the growth of all future altcoin assets occurs together. ethereum, xlm, xrp, bnb, litecoin, even some new assets will also compete to get the best place on the market.

I think that some altcoin will disappear, partly because they are no more maintained, some will stop because they reach their end of life.
Some are designed to run on the long term and will continue to progress because they are supported and they innovate.
There will be some cleaning, but it is natural, any investor can see it coming.
