It all depends on the price and time when you made the investment. For example, let's take the case of Ethereum. The initial ICO price for Ethereum was BTC0.0005 (in 2015). By the beginning of 2017, the prices had climbed to BTC0.001 per coin. But then the ICO boom happened, and the prices shot up by as much as 150x. The peak price was BTC0.15 per coin, if I am not wrong.

By 2018, the ICOs started to lose their sheen. The ETH prices began to decline and now they are trading at BTC0.022 per coin. So in case you had made your investment in 2017 January, then you'll be sitting on top of 22x gains. On the other hand, if you had made your moves by end of 2018, then you will be in red by 80%.

2017 was full of blessings for everyone in the crypto market. But many things have changed, i’m also pretty sure that every garbage project won’t grow. No need to feel sorry about those stupid, useless projects. It’s better to clean the market from shitcoin. Nevertheless, i believe it’s better to keep calm, no need to feel panic. We will eventually see a bullrun for Alts.

I agree with you. Altcoins holders should be smart and they should do proper research always. Some people don’t even do a proper research and they keep complaining. If you wanna get some good profit for long term, you should do a proper research to find the most trusthworthy Alts. We all already know some useless Alts will just disappear.

Research is the key to determining investment, mistakes in making choices will certainly harm us, because there are many altcoins that have no potential in the future and it's better to choose the top altcoin.

2018 till 2019 be moment for market applied natural selection.only good projects that will improve and recover its price.meanwhile if we still hold altcoin that has no developtment , be ready it will has no value again.

in my opinion it is also true that 2018 is a bad year for the ico project, most of the coins they produce from ico have absolutely no exchanges and there are also those that have no development at all. if you hold an altcoin that doesn't have further developments it would be nice to sell them and replace them with new ones.

if i still have a lot of money, i think it's a very good idea to invest in bitcoin.

yeah, i think you are right.
we must do further research to find out which coins are valuable or not.
