For sure Ethereum and Neo are in the list since they are both for infrastructures. They act like as foundations for starting companies and help them their company make a decentralized application on top of the existing blockchain. This two has a lot of potentials for the future and might even grow bigger in market cap.

in my opinion one of the coins that will survive in the future is IOTA, One of the most popular features in using IOTA is that they charge ZERO for each transaction. Unlike other cryptocurrency, this coin does not use blockchain but, "Tangle" where people will verify their respective transactions. It still uses the idea of consensus blockchain but with dozens and billions of devices connected to each other.

To be honest, 99% coin will be not able to survive in near future. As far as I can assume, cryptocurrency will be the future currency and every people will be forced to use it. Then, why people will use a coin which has no usefulness? It's a logic.
Moreover, the cryptocurrency world will be industry based, IMO. People will use a different currency for different sectors as it offers rewards. For example, Medic coin offers a reward for using it while you are meeting with doctors. FYI, it offers benefit for both patient and doctor. Also, there are some ideas by which people will be attracted to use it when he/she is traveling. That's how the change will come, IMO. Cryptocurrency focusing on specific sectors will be survived in the future.

It is hard to say. There are 2 diffrent point of view.
1. Bitcoin maximalists say that altcoins are useless and everything could be replaced by Bitcoin.
2. Other people say that altcoins are much better than Bitcoin, due to new technologies which are implemented in new coins.

Can Altcoins survive? I think it depends a lot on the crypto and Bitcoin markets. I believe the Altcoins will grow well in the next few months.
I think strong coins will become stronger, because they just plain have good product, and weak coins will disappear. Yes, it's driven by the fate of Bitcoin, but I believe in the independent successful future of altcoins.

If you want to know which tokens will survive in the future, then you need to monitor their development teams and market capitalization. Their growth is influenced by investors' influx and support in the world Roll Eyes

I think in the future there will be limits on the creation of the altcoin on the crypto market. Since too many altcoins are born, too many altcoins are of low value.

I think it's too early to evaluate all altcoins on the ERC20, most of them did not fulfill their road maps and did not implement their projects in the real economy, it would be nice to see statistics on projects that have already completed their road map.

if I think ethereum, NEO and EOS will survive in the future, because the lack of altcoins has a good future and great potential. so don't hesitate to choose the three coins for long-term investment

No one can tell with certainty which ones will survive for fact, but it's easier to predict which projects have future prospects. It's all just speculating but at this point is quite clear that alts are here to stay. And they are becoming more and more like actual projects you can take somewhat seriously.
If a project has a good product with strong potential, then of course it is safe to say that this project is here to stay, but it is also natural that many more projects fail and never achieve success (soft or hard cap). I believe that some good coins will stay.

I don't even know what altcoins can survive anymore. Most likely those who have a good Foundation over which the developers are constantly working, which constantly overlook the good news. What is altcoins it's hard to say. maybe only Ethereum is altcoins can survive in the future. Wink

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
in my opinion until now no one has been able to know for certain the future of crypto currency coins patience and confidence and clever use of every opportunity to make a profit

I'm only sure of one coin, it's Ethereum. Ethereum is really a very strong coin, with a good Foundation. And kill its not be easy. But that doesn't mean Ethereum will last forever, no. But in the next 5 years, no one will catch up with him.

Yes, I agree!
In the next 5 years, no one will catch up with him.
I guess any cryptocurrency which has not only trading as marketplace for the exchange will survive, like (SQR) SaleQR .

Do you mean you don't have other alts that you wish to buy or think will survive year 2018? Well, you're right. Ethereum is great and am also voting for it. However, I do have alts I just can't get my mind off, alts like Swachhcoin and MTV. I plan to have enough of these two and hodl for long term Smiley

I think the best advantages of altcoin is there is possibility to be creative. If the product is soooo nice, there is no reason investors don't choose that. even if it is altcoins.
To check the product, users need to keep an eye on the exchange's roadmap. You can check the Ruby-X Roadmap as well to find out whether it is legit or not Smiley thanks !

There are presently thousands of altcoins and thousands are still coming, but the ones I think will survive are the ones that actually have a purpose and have a product already. Not the ones that are just an idea without a working product.

I don't understand various kinds of altcoins, but what is certain is that altcoins are widely accepted by the public.
