now it is very difficult to guess the altcoin that has bright prospects going forward, if you look at the system developed I am interested in altcoins namely ETH, XRP, EOS, and NEO, these coins also have very large interested communities, price changes are also stable and very much needed this

Many coins will survive, but most will lose their value and become useless. And here everything is simple-the society is not yet ready for a mass transition to cryptocurrency .

Very many altcoins, unfortunately or fortunately will die, but it is inevitable. Too many completely unnecessary projects appeared in the wake of the growing popularity of Bitcoin in late 2017.

It is difficult to predict such changes, but I think that some altcoins will survive if they will gain popularity and big advertising campaign. For example, Ethereum, NEO. From new coins I like Eidoo.

There will be tokens that will survive in the future. But right now, they need to focus on their products, because one day the crypto community realises that an ICO needs a working product. I want to see more products from the top 100 coins.
I don't want to see more products, I want to see better products that can compete with Bitcoin or ETH. We need working products you are right in that. Otherwise it's just scamming people.

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
I think that such altcoins as Ethereum can live a very long time and please us with their UPS, so we can say about EOS, Litecoin, monero and others that we can use in our real life.

A lot of the altcoins are going to survive int he future since they have already carved out a niche for themselves and have taken their spots in the market, coins that are going to survive would be coins like neo, ethereum, litecoin, monero and a host of other good coins but in the same vein, there are going to be a lot of altcoins dying out and fast too
It's like a natural selection. Some coins will stay because they are just stronger and respond to the market demand the best way, but some of the coins will struggle and die out because they are not original or necessary for people.
usually die coins has no clear developtment and roadmap.and most of them did not  have function if cryptocurrency implemented and adopted in our real life.or atleast has own blockchain.

Dogecoin and litecoin is good. In fact it is already fourth quarter of 2018 and they already survived in the dump. I consider also the coins that is in the top 100 that possible to survive also in the future.

Well, it is very difficult to predict what altcoins can survive in the future , but you can definitely say for 2 altcoins is eth and eos they are very well developed
With time people will appreciate quality and prospects of the best coins on the market and will stop copying them to scam money out of people. We need stronger leaders and not a multitude of copycats worth nothing.

Unfortunately, now many altcoins on the modern crypto market are truly dead, with no further prospects. This includes fraud and bad ideas. But many coins will be able to survive - for example, I believe in the excellent potential of Ethereum, Waves, Ripple and NEO in the future.

I think that many altcoins will survive in the future. Maybe those that can not stand the competition will disappear. Those who are weak and do not have investors, Because they are not interested in them.

Exactly. Eventually, there will be a lot of altcoins within the market which will make the competition fierce. As such, only a few cryptocurrency projects would be able to survive over the long term, while the rest fade into oblivion. There are many hyped altcoins in the market right now, but none have been able to provide real usage and acceptance from businesses and individuals in the mainstream world.

However, altcoins which deliver true uses for the mainstream world, along with constant innovation, will be able to survive in the future. Ethereum is such altcoin, since it's getting popular everyday with ICO projects launching ERC-20 tokens on its blockchain. Considering how many tokens there are within ETH's blockchain, it's safe to say that the cryptocurrency project has a very bright future ahead of it. Not to mention, Ethereum has a smart leader known as Vitalik guiding it towards the right direction, along with a wealth of developers working on the project day and night. It's no wonder why it's still the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, despite being criticized by many within the mainstream world. With upcoming scalability improvements such as the Raiden Network, Plasma Framework, Casper PoS, and more, you could expect this cryptocurrency to last for quite some time.

Therefore, without a doubt, Ethereum will survive in the future, as well as, a few altcoins which stand within the top 5 - 10 rankings in market cap. Just my thoughts Grin

projects that will develop their product in any case will have serious opportunities for the future, because these projects are constantly improving and will continue to do so. Just pay attention to those projects that are time tested today.

I try to invest in coins that offer ecosystems rather than just one thing.  Therefore Stakenet.  XSN
   -privacy coin
   -Staking as a Service
   -Masternodes as a Service
-The first coin to introduce Trustless Proof of Stake
-DEX powered by masternodes (a first)
   -Crosschain Proof of Stake
-Investment Agility: stake in XSN but receive
rewards in a currency of your choice
  -Hardware division like BULWARK
  -Nearly instantaneous transactions

Arianna Simpson, Founder and managing director of Autonomous Partners, A VC firm recently talked about the coming importance of DEXs.

Stakenet's DEX is the ONLY one to operate on top of Masternodes. That means that masternode holders get the fees from the exchange, kind of like BNB for Binance.
