Altcoin is the development of BTC so why do you think it does not exist. All are based on Blockchain technology and Altcoin is doing it. This year 2018 was not Altcoin's true year of success, but I think a good year for us to get rid of the Altcoin is not available. Instead, the Altcoin is really powerful to continue to grow.

If I were you, I would have looked at Ripple and Ethereum because I think that they can give very good growth in the future and they are the most promising altcoin in the market.

It is difficult to say, because obviously no one here can know what will happen with BTC, what will happen by the end of this year, if you notice that BTC has become very stable lately, it probably means that we will soon be moving up

I am sure that in the future Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS, DASH will survive exactly. I believe that it is these coins that will grow and are very promising.

It is impossible to answer this question with 100% accuracy. Most likely, the greatest demand of the existing altcoins will be: Ethereum, Cardano, IOTA.

I think in future will survive, some altcoins like, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solaris, Nano, Bitcoin cash, Waves and maybe Electroneum, Dogecoin, Digibyte and some coins with own blockchain where can be created more coins and much more which i not mention here. Anyway i will keep more altcoins and before they grow i will gather as much coins i can.

I don't think so that altcoin wil survive in future. I mean not all altcoins. Altcoin like Ethereum and Litecoin will be survive. Altcoins market price are too low except Ethereum. And Because of this their are not use for investment. And another thing are they are not as much as famous like bitcoin. And another reason is altcoin has not a stable platform to perform. They are not accepted by many country and they not famous too. And Because of their decentralised nature they are ban too.

My personal opinion is that only tokens with better capitalization will survive in the future. I think it will go well in the growth of Ethereum and Neo. I think Ripple will be used by banks for sure.

The number of altcoins from day to day will continue to increase in number. The competition created in crypto will be increasingly tight and heated to fight for existence. rank and increasing popularity in a fairly long period of time. An Altcoin that will be able to maintain its existence in the crypto world according to me personally is like ETH, EOS, Stellar, Dogecoin, Waves. It can be shown early from the top ranks that they continue to improve and also their ability to maintain existence by increasing the quality of coins.

I believe that the top 50 will survive all the rest of it won't be easy. Bloody correction this year will determine who is worthy to survive and who will remain at the bottom!

Dogecoin and litecoin have the potential to continue to grow, both of them have become part of the old crypto, I think both will increase many times in the future.

I think that surviving is not the most important thing. The main thing is to develop the project. If a project has properties that are important for the global cryptocurrency ecosystem, then it will definitely survive and take its rightful place in the rating of projects.

I believe that those who have a good design will survive. As well as a steady capitalization. They trailer and will develop and grow. And the correction is not particularly able to move such altcoins.

The survival of altcoins is highly dependent on the survival of Bitcoin in the long term and it's widespread adoption. So, as long as Bitcoins survives, a lot alts with use cases will remain in the space.

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
you can look at coin market cap about 2 years ago. the only thing stay the same is Bitcoin.
others, they just switch, up and down dramatically. just 1,5 year ago, no one think ETH could surpass 1k$ and stand second on CMC

The most reliable is of course top altcoins. Over time, many new coins will come to the market, and some will leave the market because nothing lasts forever.

I think that those whose capitalization will not fall will survive. And internal development will be relevant and work. Who are small though. But steady growth. As well as the demand, which is important.

I am sure that after correction such cryptocurrencies will survive. This is Ripple, NEO, Litecoin. They actually have good potential. And already leading the market. As well as internal development has the power. Which will allow to survive.

Liberated Forever. Domesticated Never.
It can be said that, the biggest factor affecting the crypto market is bitcoin, if the bitcoin market is still sluggish it will be difficult to be able to see the price of altcoins can improve, I hope in October bitcoin prices can reach at least $ 10k.

That's without a doubt. The whole crypto market depends on Bitcoin to grow, and without its success, other cryptocurrencies would simply fail. None has been able to match Bitcoin in terms of development, popularity, and mainstream adoption. While the closest altcoin to achieve this is Ethereum, it's still far from being as popular as Bitcoin is.

Once Bitcoin goes to the moon again, I could see many altcoins doing the same. Most cryptocurrencies are being launched in the form of tokens within the Ethereum blockchain, so this could mean that Ethereum will be an altcoin that will truly survive in the future. But, altcoins which lack adoption and usage, would suffer the risk of becoming dead anytime soon. I've seen many cryptocurrency projects that were created with the purpose of enriching the developers but without providing real uses to our world.

Therefore, I think that alongside Ethereum, other coins such as Cardano, Nem, Dash, Monero, and Zcash will truly survive in the future because they have a great development team and a very active community across various social media sites. Cool
