Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin

I think in future will survive crypto that have their own platform, ecosystem and a strong team of developers - Ethereum, EOS, Litecoin, Monero, NEO, NEM, Waves. And of course Bitcoin - Father of crypto market.

Only those coins which have a real product, a great development team and a good community will survive while the others i don't think will exist.

Now is a very difficult time for the altcoins. Many have fallen in price, but I believe that their time will come.
There is a lot of people continuing to trade in the market. It doesn't look like it's over for crypto, there is a lot of money in it.

I believe that Ethereum is one of them. Not because Ethereum is the master of altcoin for now, but because Ethereum always innovates, to try to be better than its competitors. Maybe there will be a lot of Altcoins, some of which are even released now, but Ethereum will always be one of them.

Currently there are also many body and good altcoins and some of them are well managed, but if I still trust ethereum to survive for a long time, even though it is not impossible there is also a good altcoin can accompany when it will come

I think ETH is gonna survive because many altcoins are based on ETH. Other altcoins like tokens on those exchange platforms are more promising. Eg. BNB on Binance, BMX on BitMart.

I think that only less than 100 of coins that will be able to survive in the future. We just witnessed that this year, a lot of coins have died and delisted completely in any exchanges and they were created in the last 2 years. The cycle will just repeat on the other coins but the ones like neo, eth and vechain will still exist.

I think only altcoins with their own original idea or with their own original non-based on ETH or BTC blockchain will survive in future. I hope that useless altcoins will be deleted someday.

Yes it will survive if you have some trust in altcoins.
Ill know it have so that we need to continue to find some good altcoins and holding it because it will be have some enough prices will come for it in a future.
I have a feeling that only few coin would survive and might use in the future. because of the many cryptocurrency it is possible that's many of this would die. only the popular and trendy will be survived. the coins that not got popular and the coins that have no good performance will be vanish someday.

Well not so much those two... I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. This will also boost tokens issued on the Stellar platform...

My most recent find among alts is AXU, "Argentas Exchange Unit" token issued on the Stellar platform and listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange, now only at its pre-distribution, or pre-ICO phase. A true hidden diamond, with low profile so far. Experienced people clearly, and cool tech for decentralizing and revolutionizing global banking - their website at argentas.io.

The pre-ICO price is 50% cheaper than the ICO price, a sure winner IMO, and I will certainly get some. They also have an ANN thread, I think here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/xxx-4431900. I dug really deep in their content, and it is really cool stuff Grin But don’t forget your own research!

At point, some were considering having altcoins that can replace bitcoin. If this can be conceived, it means that there are lots of altcoins that have the tendency to survive in the future.

Wow, the OP was a year and a half ago.
It's interesting that he said LTC and DOGE would survive.
In a sense, yes, they are still surviving.

I think the market will really mature once we finally get out of this bearish market slump.
There's no way that investors will run back to wild speculation and throwing money around after learning the hard way this year.
So the alts that will survive and have a good future are the projects that have a real life use case and good market penetration.

Just off of those two simple things, I can tell you now that a lot of top 50 coins won't be around.
A lot of them simply because they don't have a product yet and others because they have no good business model.
Speculation is over, so the days of something like EOS being almost as valuable as ETH is over.
A company will need to have more than just promises and a whitepaper.
i am sk happy to hear thT news but infortunately we will meet woth scammers a lot of times it is unavoidable
