As far as i have experienced the altcoin that has chance to survive in the future is ETH. Let's say ethereum had dipping too much but we know the fact that this is the King of all alts. I think all the coins that are in the top will survive. Of course many will depreciate in the future, some new coins, more technological ones will come to replace them.
The only altcoins that will survive are the ones with consensys mechanism built into them. This means mining, staking, delegated staking, etc. And it is quite debatable if their value is going to increase, because all the miners will be dumping the coins on the exchanges and the users just won't hodl, buy buy and use instantly.
