To me, Viola.AI is the Altcoin that will survive in the future. Why? Coz it has an already working dating APP available for download in google play. And also a merchant portal for fast utilization of VAI tokens plus a working and trustworthy team.
Check out their telegram link below to invest asap before it ends on July 31st:

depends on whether we're talking mid-term (2 years) or long term 5-10 years.

Long term I'd not bid on anything except bitcoin, short term there's a lot of promising alts

If ane thinks altcoin will survive in the future, but it can not be guessed, but altcoin already issued a coin coin that was issued the same year but most likely he will survive

There are many factors that decide the fate of the specific altcoin that will survive for long-term or not. I agree with your statement that Litecoin  and Dogecoin will continue to survive for long here but I have some other good altcoins option that can also be proved long term coins: Waves, ADA, GVT, CVC, Ethereum, Das

h & Xmr. Anyone can research about these coins & consider it for long run

In time altcoins that have no use or value in the real world will start dying out and only those that can be used as a legitimate way of carrying out transactions and be used as a currency will survive.
This is true but at least should have mentioned those who you consider are useless and will be out of the list in the future.
Like I am sure about Ethereum, Monero, Verge and Zcash are the one's you will see after 10 years in the list too due to their performance and usability.

Altcoins are just like stocks, they will survive as long as they have use cases and they are pretty stable price coins in the market. As far as I know, there are many coins will survive in the future just hold and prove the worth, their chances of surviving in the future is very high.

I personally think the privacy coins have a really good chance to survive, especially those that offer real world value. For example, one that I heavily invest in is DeepOnion. This feature-rich privacy coin has 100 percent anonymous transactions, which I really like.

I thought it was just a great altcoin and can be used in a crowded media for payments that would be able to survive. among it all, if I think ethereum become one that will survive in the future. altcoin has a great system so that it will be able to make it competitive with the existing conditions.

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin

I think that the altcoins who create their ecosystem like ETH, NEO, and altcoins oriented to complete anonymity like  Zcash, Dash, Monero.

We need to switch to Bitcoin. After all, these two cryptocurrencies are closely related to each other. The task of altcoin is to facilitate the receipt of bitcoin-s. Therefore, you just need to buy bitcoins for altcoins and all the problem is solved and all is well))

Depends what the definition of future is, if we say the next 10yrs, of the altcoins that are currently live, I would like to assume that ETH, DASH, LTC and Stratis would be here for the future.

Bitcoin is not altcoin , but i think the same that bitcoin will survive in the future, but max price per it will be around 14K USD. Also very promising is ETH and NEO coins . Also you should check PChain.

PChain is promising and could really benefit the Ethereum blockchain. I believe that such altcoin is in its very beginnings given that it's cheap, as well as its technology and features to help improve dApp performance on ETH. Once it gains traction, it could skyrocket in value leaving many early adopters with a lot of money in their pockets. Another good altcoin which could survive in the future, would be Loom. This one, aims to improve Ethereum's dApp performance too, since it has adopted a popular scalable solution known as Plasma. If successful, then the Loom Network's underlying token (Loom) might also increase in price within the market.

Such altcoin could have a bright future and might never die if people keeps supporting it. IMO, Ethereum and NEO will also survive in the future as they're promising coins with a lot of development and innovation, as well as having extremely active communities. If they could prove their uses in the mainstream world, then there should be nothing to worry about, as money will continue to pour into such cryptocurrencies. However, those that are unable to prove usability to the mainstream world, will simply vanish over time. Just my opinion Smiley

cash is already half dead, and ether is a zombie that gets pumped. the only remaining option is litecoin, just because it belongs to the Chinese, and they like it.

Litecoin and Dogecoins are kinda old altcoins. There is nothing new (DOGE especially). I think that ETH and XMR will survive and thrive.

I think that you are too pessimistic. I think that much more altcoins have a future..
Ethereum, Monero, TRON, TWN, EOS...Power Ladger, ADA...

I want to believe that not only these coins will show themselves in the future, but also many others .. Otherwise, why all this exists.

I believe that Eos, litecoin, and ethereum is three of those altcoins that will definitely have a bright future and i also believe that alll of the holders of this 3 coins can earn a huge amount of profit before this year will end because all of that 3 coins can rise there value very high.
