I think ETH is gonna survive because many altcoins are based on ETH. Other altcoins like tokens on those exchange platforms are more promising. Eg. BNB on Binance, BMX on BitMart.

As such, they'll remain in the crypto market for years to come. On the other hand, I believe that Golem will also survive in the future because it'll become a token with lots of utility and demand for decentralized computing.
Therefore, if an altcoin proves to bring real uses to people in the mainstream world, it'll remain actively supported by its community and development team for a long time. However, if an altcoin becomes abandoned by its dev team and community, then it will slowly die until it's no longer traded on the market. Hopefully, most altcoins will be here to stay for years to come due to their features, active development, and community interest in maintaining them for the long term. Just my opinion
