I really like NEM. This is an excellent project, which is developing very quickly. I am sure that this coin will become very popular and now (perhaps a little bit later) we have a great chance to buy it. But the profit does not come immediately.
Just to tag along, price of the token goes hand in hand with the supply and therefore, market cap. It's weird that people still think a coin won't lose its value. It only retains or gains value if the utility is viable, otherwise it ends up like the 46% of ICOs in 2017.
There are many altcoin under $ 1. I think you should go to Coinmarketcap to see and analyze them in more detail. You will learn about each coin and its price on Coinmarketcap. I would go up there every day to see the prices of the coins.

There are many good altcoins that are under 1 usd.
RKT token is around 0.15 usd at the moment. it is token of Gilbertar exchange platform and platform will be alive very soon. i believe that rkt tokens will increase as bnb kcs and coss did before.

After reading this post, I realized that the author is a novice trader. I didn't see the logic in his reasoning. I would advise you to pay attention not to the price of the token, but to the capitalization of the token.
Cardano, Nem and Ardor look at these coins, with capitalization and liquidity they are all right. And the risk will always be present.
Of course, to conduct trade of any altcoins always carries an increased risk, but the profit can be increased

What market cap would you guys recommend though?
Most altcoins under $1 are in the ICO range. I would think about Retainly
Cardano, Nem and Ardor look at these coins, with capitalization and liquidity they are all right. And the risk will always be present.
I guess trading with low costs tokens depends more on what you want to achieve, what I mean is that for someone small x is more than enough. And I guess sometimes such strategie worth more than holding and waiting for big X
I think that we need to stay at the level we have now. It is very difficult to invest in Coins, which do not show today and really cost.
In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

You have a point, But base on my experience most of the ICOs who have $1 token price are mostly more successful compare to other ICOs who have lesser price.

Check out tbar, you can buy it on TIDEX, Fatbtc or cobinhood. This coin used to be at 4$ but it got hacked and now it's worth only 20 cents but the team is working hard to build their platform.
Capitalization of the coin with this price all decides. Successful can be coins like NEM or cardano. But then again this is my personal opinion.

How about token spectre.ai (SXDT and SXUT) ??
I hear that soon will be finished product and will soon be launched, many say that this tokens will be good.
