Buy the dips and keep dipping, -90% another  -90%  Grin , fomoiing/yoloing in the heart of millennials logic, rare seen this day flash drop happen, mostly slow drop to death and guys catching falling knife, hoping bounce soon and getting rekt by using high leverage and lot of liquidations makes dip getting deeper
So the answer is clear? why need to buy altcoins when you can credit all to Bitcoin is that what you are saying here?  Grin Grin

Have been following this thread for months now and what I saw is just another one posting His shitcoin or those who does not truly understand the market and just telling what they think will climb tomorrow .
Actually it depends on each individual's decision because buying altcoins is not a bad decision as long as they really do research before buying,
for Bitcoin it is clear that there is no doubt because it is indeed very feasible for long-term investment,
to diversify I think that's a good strategy.

No doubt about the bitcoin but the OP was asking what altcoin is worth it, I'd say that only selected altcoins are really worth it to buy and hodl while the market is dipping, but shitcoins/memecoins? I doubt people can still get lucky about it because these whales are moving in an unexpected manner so there's more chance that you'll get losses than gains, moreover, it's not worth it in the first place because these coins doesn't have any utility.

You can take your chance but be ready with the risk that you'll going to take. There are many investors / traders who are playing with such kind of investment and most of them are losing money. It's the timing and luck that will allow you to earn from shit/meme project, same deal with gambling you will wait if you will win or lose at the end.

Better to invest with solid assets which have established usages and communities, once Bitcoin experienced huge pump expect those coins to experienced the same not totally all but most of them will.
Everyone has their own choice but I think it is very important to minimize risk whether it's in trading or investing,
on the other hand making decisions by taking risks is also good but still it needs to be considered first,
investing in solid assets like top coins is a great choice.

Sure, no doubt that BTC is the best choice. But buying altcoins for diversification is a nice idea, too.
You are right that diversification is a good strategy, we can optimize the chance to get bigger profits in this way. Altcoins are more volatile than Bitcoin, their prices can increase bigger than Bitcoin. However, many altcoins potentially lose their prices significantly if they have bad issues in the future. So, the risk to invest in altcoins is bigger. I agree that we must do deep research and always choose top altcoins with strong fundamentals only.

Investing in altcoins is dangerous but can be very rewarding.
The most important questions are:

- How good is the use-case, is the market cap a realistic display of the actual value of the project (future growth?)
- Risk/Reward ratio? What are the risks and how big do you expect the reward to be if everything works out perfectly?
- Quality of the team?
- Work shown? Actual progress made?
- Green/Red flags?

I recommend doing research on AptosLaunch, the biggest position in my portfolio and the price is still low because the CEXs currently sell the Tokens
that they got for listing.

I recommend only bitcoin because ut is actually the only cryptocurrency that is a commodity in the sense that nothing can intervene in its operations, unlike all others which has a CEO, or group of individuals that can ultimately intervene in the operation of the coin. Maybe I'm just ignorant or should have known this before I invested to begin with, but for me that changed my whole perspective. Swapped everything I had into bitcoin, and nows the time to do it while it's still low(er) in price. If there's one thing history has proven its that mankind cannot be trusted.
You're correct, and that i did already, my 90% of the assets are converted into BTC because i will go long term with BTC, so i don’t need to panic to see this market condition. I filling my bag gradually with BTC, that's means if btc will go down it’s my opportunity to buy it with low price. It's difficult to me to pick altcoins in this bearish market.

bitcoin is indeed the top choice as the first investment asset chosen to get profits in the future without being bound by anything and not centered from any direction. but back again to each investor who will choose where they will put their money in one of the cryptos which will be considered a profitable investment.
so we can't force other investors to stay in bitcoin but they also have the right to choose another coin or altcoin.
but you also have to remember that the current situation is bearish in control of the market and you have to be more careful about buying new altcoins or altcoins that have the risk of not being able to survive this winter and disappear.

Currently investing in bitcoin is the most important, we can take advantage of this bear market to collect more bitcoins in our portfolio. Bitcoin will always be ahead of altcoins. Now many people are asking whether it is better to invest in bitcoin or altcoins? if the question is addressed to me, then obviously I will answer bitcoin is the first asset that must be owned.
For myself, I don't want to be a laggard in the future with the bitcoin price.  Wink

It's easier to said than done. Sure you can choose every coins in top rank on coinmarketcap. Depends on how you trade long or short, the profit doesn't just come right away. If we are talking then analysis, indicators and whatever strategies take a part of how well you will trade on that moment. It's difficult to actually learn all of that and even if you know how it works, it doesn't mean guarantee the profit.
what is easier here when there is nothing to choose but her own?

lol we must consider giving names like Bitcoin or Ethereum or Ripple at least.
I do appreciate your Bitcoin and Ethereum picks here. But why Ripple?
I would appreciate you more if you said BNB because it has promising potential regardless of the FTX and Binance going around here.

To be honest, the Bitcoin price is still dropping every day although not that much. So if you are still afraid with the risks and want to take slowly so would recommend to wait until there is a "clear sign" that we are out of bear market. Otherwise, you can go hard.

Yup, if you are willing to go long even experiencing more dump better to stay with Bitcoin and wait for another bull to come back, there are always good bounce when the market start to pump.

In regard to other alternative assets, it might be better to analyze and assess if you are willing to invest
your hard earned money and take that risk or just stay with Bitcoin and wait.

ALT (AptosLaunch) is cheap atm. Last IDO price was 0.07, it is listed at KuCoin and MEXC.

I think evaluating the effort that is done when a sale is over is a good method to spot the best projects,
DYOR on AptosLaunch, imo it is the most promising project on Aptos/Sui at this moment.

Clearly, the bears still have the upper hand. Despite what people say, I do not have trust in investing in altcoins this time around. Though altcoins appeared to have a chance, they quickly fell instead of rising. So, yes! Only Bitcoin and Ethereum are worth considering this time around because all other crypto is worthless.
It is untrue that only BTC and ETH are worth, other top altcoins deserve to invest as well.
BNB, DOT, MATIC, ADA, and TRX are good altcoins to invest, too. These altcoins also increase significantly in the bullish season. But it is true that the volatility of these coins is bigger than BTC and ETH. So, they are riskier that BTC and ETH.

Many altcoins have good potential to skyrocket when the market improves, do not panic when looking at the market conditions that are still red like now, this is precisely this is a good opportunity to buy so that we are faster for profit, some decent altcoins are Apecoin, Matic, Solana, Solana and so on.
This is a good time to invest in almost all alt coins. Each coin has seen a price drop of around 95% or more from its peak. I think this is a good time for new investment. But the current market may go deeper. I think we need to wait for few days. I am in favor of buying APE and Matic but there is confusion about Solana.

True, altcoins have a very good opportunity to skyrocket when the market recovers, but I suggest always watching the market because bad things like LUNA or FTT can happen at any time, we take advantage of the bigger profit opportunities to store altcoins.
Opportunities like that will always exist it seems but regarding market conditions I don't see it recovering in the near future,
paying attention to the market is important because we know for ourselves that in crypto it is difficult to predict

You need to learn on how to move forward in case another case of Luna and FTX happen again. Experienced will dictate to you on how you
work alongside with any potential risk that you will encounter.

As long as you know how to let go and to keep moving, even you suffer with a project that didn't work
out when using it as the sole medium for your investment.

There are many available projects and all you need to do is to sort it up and pick the best one according
to your deep research and analysis.

I think next big thing in crypto will be Aleph Zero. Developers work so hard to prove their project is worthy. In current price levels its cheap and if you invest a lot in it, you may become very rich guy in future. On the other hand I believe BNB and Ethereum are the best coins to buy at dip. They have huge fan base and use cases for both of them are awesome. I think best coins to buy at dip are coins which run at their own native Blockchain.
