Yes, Altcoins are down and this is expected. This down trend always happens during January until March first week due to Chines festival, they cash out Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies for their festival. If you could see the last three to four years trend, you would be able to guess what happens next.
all altcoins price was decreased because in china and south Korea has banned bitcoin that's why people was sold bitcoins with lowest price. that's why altcoin's price was decreased. now altcoins price is increasing frequently.
but I see now starting to grow again the development of some altcoin that I have like trade.io (IOP) and token etherium.
Yes, Bitcoin market is down when all Altcoins price down. But today is price slowly increasing and I hope will be altcoins price is normal in March.
I think now altcoin is getting better and slowly rising back the price.
Now fall in the price of all the coins. The market is unpredictable. But this is a plus. You can take a chance and buy cheap coins and wait for them to rise in price.

This is because of the FUDs spreading in the internet and in the NEWS. Another reason maybe considered is that the China government already took action which may shock anyone living in China. China already implemented the total crypto ban.
FUD is just part of it, which is the tactics the whales normally use to get a good hand in the market. China governments on the other hand are just some lousy government that feels since they have the power, they can just always poke nose into everything that happens in their country while trying to frustrate their citizens. I do not see China as a problem, their noise at the end of it all will dwindle.I do always believe, the red sign means, 'BUY US' 'BUY US'… There comes a time in the crypto life when all the market will give those who missed a previous chance another chance to stash up. Just see it as a moment of refueling before the takeoff to the moon. Look for good projects, buy more. This is just a general market correction, so you won't regret it at the end.

The price of every crypto currenies are falling almost 20% of its value everyday,since it is happening in all over the places like stock exchanges also.And the main reason for the price fall of crypto curreny is due to panic sellic so the people need to stop selling their coins if they want their cointo recover from its crash. 
Not panic because it is just a correction. After red, as usual, the price will be in green again.
Only this correction began in December. The price falls for over two months. It's a little long. Now it's panic sale, which I hope will soon be over.
For me, the major reason why prices are falling drastically can be traced to some negative propaganda some evil people are passing around. For instance, propaganda about some leading nations in Blockchain revolution such as China and India banning totally Cryptocurrencies. All of these are just means to make people give out their hard earned fortunes cheaply, thereafter, market return back to normal. Please be wise all.
It's simple. Now the market correction after a prolonged price increase in autumn and winter last year. Prices can not constantly grow. Therefore, they are corrected. After correction, there will be growth again.

well i will tell you, the best part of a dip is to hold and buy more.selling your tokens at dip will never help you and will just make you more miserable in the future. how did i say that ? well, you are not looking of future but the day now. cutting the holding will give you a headache soon and i am pretty sure of that. well, you are new and experience is the best teacher. so wait and be miserable.
Everything is down really though the U.S stock market is also down. Now is a good time to buy with the market being down so much.
Because bitcoin goes down very deep and there is a lot of bad news about Cryptop. So the price goes down is inevitable. Hope the market will recover soon, very sad and anxious to look at the red every day.
maybe this time you see all the altcoin falling but for a few months then all will recover kebali i am sure it is. because I read on the website many factors that make all altcoin fall.
