The main individual to imagine a coldwallet that takes any coin will be extremely well off. I was simply grumbling in another string that you need to have such huge numbers of wallets, each with its own particular key, secret key, document, each to be airgapped, each to never at any point be lost or that is it for eternity. It will be wonderful when frosty capacity innovation gets up to speed. Put it on your stick and breathe a sigh of relief, one seed for everything on the off chance that you lose it. I don't for the most part utilize any of the altcoin programming wallets aside from sia, and I read about it first. This isn't to imply that it can't be traded off later on yet nothing's ideal. I wouldn't dl anything too new, regardless of whether it influences me to pass up a major opportunity for something.

Alternative Blockchain can sometimes be a real fake. Now it is difficult to create something unique that does not exist. That is why many ICO run on the ETH blockchain, but their own blockchain is always promising.

When I read about problems in some alternative chains I just imagine how satoshi would feel if he saw them.

It seems not many are as bright as satoshi to build a system so strong that it rarely cracks or squeal.

I havent experimented with altchains because of computer resources but I would very much try then out to see which truly makes sense.

The creator of this thread did point out some important things one has to look into.

When you say alternative blockchain are you referring to a different line of events totally or you are referring to the scammers out there. Please be aware that there are these guys out there who send you scam emails with the idea of getting your security pass.

They say theirs is 'blokchain' whereas the original and real site is blockchain. Please be careful. I don't think there is another.  Except you are referring to a different protocol entirely.

Thank you Gavin.

The only things I might add is that "use a different password" isn't limited to exchanges, but applies to forums, emails, and even pools Wink , and that some antivirus heuristics seem to hate anything that has mining code in it and isn't explicitly whitelisted.
Using different password is a good method I am sure it really can protect you from the differend kind of problems
but I have been using only two or three and still have never had problems

It is always necessary to carefully study the information before investing. Not all means are superfluous and free, therefore, in order not to stay at the broken trough, study the market or take risks, but take the risk justifiably.

I strongly agree. That's partly why I haven't messed with the alt chains. I even mentioned this on the announcement thread for lxcoin but it got drowned out with all the excitement about it.

Better even have a few computers. I do so, I have 2 regular laptops on which I trade and other business, and there is also an apple computer almost clean and with one of the best antivirus, on it I make transfers and work with purses. I think that it would be right to do it.

I think this information is spreaded around in this forum to an extent about the crypt. I too hope a section is given to improve the beginners to get a good hang of the crypto-currency.

Some people only have one computer and that must suck. Fortunately I have multiple so I can use some of my alt-miners to do this safely.
You are lucky to have such an opportunity, it is really much more comfortable and more safely to organize your work like that

I think that if a person who does not understand anything at all in programming and mathematics is very far from cryptocurrency, Satoshi's document will not help much.

I think that now many people in the crypto community try to just make money without any understanding of what a crypt is and how everything is arranged .

Alternative chain blocking, they are now beginning to gain increasing popularity possibly due to the fact that Bitcoin has really become an unstable coin ..
