But if you prefer web wallets over software or hardware ones, blockchain.info looks the best option in my opinion since it has lots of feature like for example the option to buy BTC and ETH directly from your wallet.
Features aren't the first option you should be paying attention to. The first priority is whether or not you are given the option to have access to your private key(s), because that is the most important aspect.

If the service in question goes down for whatever reason, or undergoes maintenance taking like 24 hours, which is something happening with Binance right now, you will then still be able to gain access to your coins.

Blockchain.info fits nicely in that category, but the largest player being Coinbase not, which is a shame.

They are clearly the market leaders in terms of online btc wallet.   What are the alternatives?

As many others suggested, it is not recommended to use online wallets. But if you prefer web wallets over software or hardware ones, blockchain.info looks the best option in my opinion since it has lots of feature like for example the option to buy BTC and ETH directly from your wallet.

I see you are full member rank, so your earnings are not so big yet, am I right? The alternative that I can suggest you is to use your exchanger address to money go directly there for your another operations with coins, that will help you to skip all unnecessary fees.

You are able to get free bitcoins for being a member of some websites or to do some easy tasks, but you always have to do something to get bitcoins. there are some free bitcoin apps that will provide you an opportunity to earn free bitcoins in the form of Satoshi.

There are lots and I would say its not actually alternatives since I do consider those things as main wallet and online web wallets are just alternative or add up on the option but storing bitcoin on these wallets is somehow risky though this is why I would suggest Bitcoin core as my main but not all people would really prefer this thing because downloading the entire blockchain will really be pain in the ass which is actually true if you do have crawling internet then skip this one and use electrum instead.

Jaxx
Exodus
Electrum are few SPV wallets rather than blockchain.info like web wallets but they are better than any web wallets and easy to use as hot wallet.

Btc.com, viabtc, block.io and many more provides web wallet service but I don't trust web wallet as much as I trust SPV wallets.

If you're satisfied with what blockchain.info brings to the table then just keep on using them.

But if you want suggestions:

- Electrum(you have to download it though)
- BTC.com(multisig wallet, trusted)
- Coinbase(easy to buy and sell but at the same time, you don't control your own private keys and support is bad)
- Greenaddress(many options, including nlocktime and multisig i believe)
- Coinb.in(advanced users)

There's also a bunch of others which are more like exchanges than wallets, which i do not recommend using.

Where's the basis? Just because most of us here are using it that will your assumed statement regarding on who's the market leader when it comes to web wallets?

There are still some good web wallets out there that you can use, I prefer to get with greenaddress and I tried it out before and if something happened to blockchain.info I'll switch back to it.
Also refer to these wallets https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/web/

Every online wallet are not safe because your private key is shared to wallet provider. That is the most of the people avoid in online wallet. Still people are using it in that blockchain and coinbase wallets top in the market and those wallet address dynamic nowadays and it is good option to being anonymous.
You can go xapo or mycelium which can be convenient to work in the mobile itself.

I wouldn't suggest any third party wallet. If you look for a mobile wallet, I can recommend mycelium or coinomi for android. If you want to save your funds on longterm, you could generate a paper or mind wallet on bitaddress.org

i'm not sure that's actually true. as a company they've claimed some impressive numbers, but i've seen some compelling arguments that they are drastically exaggerated. they use unverifiable things like "number of wallets" as data, when many of those wallets are abandoned and inactive. i've had dozens of blockchain.info wallets over the years, used as throwaway wallets. they're probably counting all of them. they also count transactions that use their "broadcast" service as being transactions made by blockchain.info "users." i use their push service all the time, but i'm using my electrum wallet to craft and sign the transactions.

i'd avoid web wallets altogether. if you must, use greenaddress. they are recommended by bitcoin.org, they have implemented segwit and multi-sig, and they are generally more secure and reliable than blockchain.info.

as i implied, though, i prefer a lightweight desktop client like electrum myself.

I don't trust any web wallet as of now i just wanted to safe all of my bitcoin into bitcoin wallet that i have backup seed phrase that anytime soon i can recover it in other wallet.. Electrum is the best option for me since i never had any problem saving my bitcoins for a long time ..
Like the above said mycelium for mobile would also the best option and safe secured..  Remember those online wallet are always having problem bugs or glitch or sometimes auto send to other wallet. so if you wanted to be safe you bitcoin wallet wisely..

I find Mycelium as the best alternative to blockchain.info. Mycelium has some amazing features like custom tx fees which helps you to transfer your funds at low transaction fees, Easy to recover by 12/24 passphrase words.
Even Mycelium has been recognized as one of the best mobile wallets in the bitcoin industry, so much that it was awarded the 2014 “Best Mobile App” by Blockchain.info

Coinbase is perfect competitor for blockchain.
Except that Coinbase is an exchange where you don't have access over your private keys. Meanwhile, Blockchain.info is a wallet which you can export your private keys. Not the best comparison.

Most of the both these wallet fees and usge specification all would be same but from the past 6 months Coinbase team working better than blockchain
Why is the Coinbase team working better than Blockchain? What have they accomplished?

and their fees also little lower always than blockchain.
They are not...? You can actually choose the fee you want in Blockchain.

Re Ven time BTG hard fork also coinbase team provides the support notice to all their wallet users. So it is being always ahead.
Coinbase doesn't support BTG or BCH. Blockchain does fully support BCH (including send and receive). How are they ahead?

You will be able add the multiple addresses only in blockchain but coinbase would give multiple wallets in one email signed up. Re Ven time BTG hard fork also coinbase team provides the support notice to all their wallet users. So it is being always ahead.

It isn't good if you store ypur coins on an online wallet there are many cases happens that they're account being hacked, locked and anything that similar happening about it. I think ot would be best if you store it in a hardware wallets like Ledger Nano and Trezor they are the best wallets you could have. Hot and cold wallets are best alternative too.

They are the online alternatives to the original Core wallet,I don't know why would you for an alternative of an alternative.

that is the weirdest definition that anybody has ever given for blockchain.info!!!

they are actually one of the worst wallets of all times. there have been bugs that led to money losses (for example usage of random.org for their random generator when creating a new private key!) and they have had lots of bugs, also they had the worst fee estimations which usually gave 100 sat/byte no matter what!

and they have not yet implemented SegWit after all this time!
