are you late?
I think you are not late but you take a good move and you have a coin that can be developed I suggest you to quickly invest so you immediately feel the results in 2018, you can divide your coins 50% in BtC and 50% in Eth because I'm sure BtC and EtH are very safe to invest and kedepanya have a good future. so soon do not you regret friends, do not hesitate because success is in front of your eyes.

Welcome on board and since less than 10% of the world population is involved in the crypto thing as of now, I don't think that it is late to join the party. Things are still in the early phase and anyone getting involved today is still an early adopter and has the same risk and rewards for his investments. However, I would highly recommend you to spend some time in doing research before making any investment decision.

Hey guys. Finally decided to get me some coins. I have about 10k to spare. any recommendations?
You are almost welcome to join the party. You could invest your $10,000 in bitcoin. Its price is facing a small dip now.But very soon,it is expected to increase since BTC futures is to be listed soon in the exchanges. Also, the high media exposure has brought great demand for bitcoins. We just witnessed bitcoin's price rising from $1,000 to almost $17,000 within a year. Now,more people are aware of bitcoins and hence a high increase in demand.Bitcoin investment could be guaranteed to increase unlike altcoins which could not be said surely.

In my opinion, i recommend bitcoin for it is the mostly used coin and still its value keep on increasing although the problem is it has high transaction fee and also it is a bit expensive and right now has slow transactiona. Unlike ethereum transactions which is a bit faster.

Many people think that bitcoin has reached its all time high value and now there is only decline in the future, well i think they are wrong. Bitcoin is very much low than its potential value and it will increase more with the passage of time. Consider the fact that it demnd is so high even when not more than 10% of world population know about it. Think of its value when 50% of people will be using bitcoin.
So it is best to join the bitcoin now . Its never late in bitcoins.

Well, I don't see as being late to the party because Bitcoin market value is currently at is bottom which I see it as a greatest opportunity to buy pending the next rise which may likely hit $25,000 in the coming days. Since your new to crypto currency don't be anxious to make it big as soon as possible by following pump group but just do your research well and well and invest wisely. Bitcoin is the future!!

No it isn't too late to join the party, i think bitcoins till have potential to grow even more as more and more people invest's in them as bitcoins price depends upon the demand. And if you are looking for long term investment bitcoins and ethereum can be great options and don't put all your money into one coin.Dash,IOTA,litecoin have shown good rise this year.I would recommend to invest in 4 to 5 coins.

You are never too late to join. In the long term the price will go up, and for day traders its also a huge opportunity.

But always good to spread your money over several coins (do research first), not just Bitcoin.

If you have 10000$. It's better to buy ethereum. 2018 is the year of ethereum Smiley
Buying bitcoin next year wont give you alot of profit. It might increase in value but not twice its base.
Best of luck

How sure are you that next year is the year for ethereum? No one can tell if what will happen on the prices of the crypto currency. It will really depend on the demand that the coin will have. Bitcoin's price will continue to rise on the next years and I don't think that Ethereum will be able to go over it's rate in the next years.

He's asking for a recommendation. And I think that recommending is base on ones knowledge so we might also call it an opinion. I do recommend ethereum because ethereum's system is better than bitcoin's. It just so happen that bitcoin is the first crypto to be acknowledge by the public giving it the edge over ethereum.

In regards to opinion, the other activities that one promotes should be considered as a gauge of how one's opinion is shaped.

Meepospammer here is promoting in his post signature an ICO that asks people go give sell their established Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, etc to buy a "P2PS ICO". Their website doesn't talk about what the P2P ICO token is, how its business model provides something tangible to the world.

This P2PS sounds like a ponzi scheme...would you trust the opinion of someone who supports a ponzi scheme?
"Sounds like a ponzi scheme" lol.
You're accusing a project just because it "sounds like".
You're just like an old lady who likes to gossip.

When I got here last year I thought I was also late to party. I just keep my eyes open for very opportunity that comes, just check the list of coins on top and also the ICOs. I started with WAVES last year and I should have collected much. $10k is just too few for invest to a ton of altcoins with potential. Ranging from ETH to LISK an to Minex, you can even have enough so keep buying.

Price is now at $15,000 so $10k that you have spare is a good amount now for joining. It's not that late to join the party but it's better for you to join now instead of asking others if you are good with it.

Yes this would be late to buy a lot of bitcoins and expect a lot of income. But you can still join the party. Bitcoin today is very expensive almost $15,000 so if you ever buy today you will still gain profits but not as big as those who are holding their bitcoins for years and years like 5 years or more. They must be a millionaire today because bitcoins before are just worth nothing like cents when they first came in and who would expect that they would be as expensive as it today and still they can increase a little more. It is up to you it is not bad to try. If you are planning to invest $15,000 worth of Bitcoin imagine how many you should've bought 6 months ago but you should still invest and avoid regretting it again.

I'm so tired of people throwing around the "Ponzi" moniker.  Why does this "sound like a Ponzi scheme"?

I know nothing of this project, but a quick search reveals they have a team, significant media coverage and have put some thought into this beyond just scamming people as you have inferred above without any evidence.

If you look at the charts you will really know that it is not a good time at all to invest in bitcoin at this price, the price has blown out of proportion and you are a bit late when it comes to investment in bitcoin, the speculators are now aiming for fifty thousand dollars and the price might touch those figures some where down the line, there are many advises you will get on what coin to invest, you have to study the market yourself and invest in it rather than listening to anyone else.

Hey guys. Finally decided to get me some coins. I have about 10k to spare. any recommendations?

1) Learn how to securely store your coins and get a hardware wallet such as a Ledger Nano S or a Trezor. Not getting hacked is half the battle, the other battle is not getting scammed out of your coins, which brings me to:

2) Avoid ICOs and HYIPs like a plague.

3) I personally mostly stay away from alts since even the more innovative ones have failed to fully convince me (eg. ETH doesn't scale well either and has insecure smart contracts, BCH is just BTC with less features and bigger blocks, IOTA currently requires a central authority, XRP is fully centralized to begin with, LTC is just BTC with shorter block times and a different hashing algorithm...) but it might be a different story for you. Long term BTC has been the most reliable cryptocurrency so far, so I'd recommend starting with that.
