Thanks for the warm welcome.
I'm currently devouring some articles and also reading the bitcoin whitepaper.
I do have a question for you. Aside from this beginner/help section which other section of the forum can I post and ask questions?

Thanks once more

Depend on the topic you want to ask or post.

There is a right section for every topic you want to start  or ask.

Bitcoin Discussion =for bitcoin related topics.
Altcoin Discussion = for altcoin related topic
Trading Discussion = for a topic related to trading
Services = if you want to offer service or if you are looking for other services we have here.
Gambling = for gambling related topics .

Just to add ,if you accidentally post it in the wrong section you can also move it by your own ,you can see the option below  (move topic) and move it to right section.

Its depend on type of your questions. I will prefer use forum search options before you create any questions. There is so many boards so you are able to create questions on appropriate board. For example if you have any forum related questions or you have any suggestions which would improve this forum then you can ask or discusse on Meta board. If you have question about bitcoin then you may ask it on Bitcoin technical discussion board as I mentioned above. If you have questions about mining then you may ask it on mining board. That's how forum work and that's the purpose of every different boards. Hope you got my point. After all if you made question on wrong section moderators would move it on appropriate section or you may move as well yourself when you will get suggestions from other users.

Welcome to the forum. You have joined on this forum with decent intentions, hope you will learn from here and contribute yourself for forum. There is two board where you will find most of technical questions about bitcoin and on the other hand there is technical discussion by experienced forum users.

1. Development & Technical Discussion
2. Bitcoin Technical Support

Also another board called Project Development could help you to know about more blockchain related project/website.

Also I will prefer to read more about this forum culture. You should know everything where you are spending time. This thread will help you to know most of important things about forum.

Selecting the right Wink project to work because there are many scam and fraudulent Huh projects
this should be your first priority if you want to enter in blockchain projects, and with this rising of scam projects be careful in dealing with them.

Understanding how the forum works by learning it's rules and features. Searching is another way to help you understand more about bitcoin and then later on you can use your skills to pursue the career you want. Everything must start from scratch or starting from basic before you continue further.

Thanks for your contributions.
I'm a avid lover of podcast. Are there bitcoin podcasts or crypto podcast that I can be exploring?

I found list to follow bitcoin podcast https://blog.feedspot.com/bitcoin_podcasts/ . You can also follow thier  social media channel to be more updated when they release a new article .

Hope this one help.

Thank you for your candid advice.
I've already started with the basics. I found some textual course I'll be going through.

Do we have bitcoin podcast I can also listen to that'll speed up my learning rate?

Between books and courses which should I focus more on?

I would always focus on books, no matter the subject.

Reading a book is like talking to the author. Well not really talking, but listening. Antonopoulos is a great person, listen to him is amazing.

Watch his youtube videos in his YouTube channel as well.

What are the most important things to consider before pursuing a career in blockchain and cryptography development industry?

Welcome to the forum. I joined for the same reasons about 2years and a half ago.

I suggest that you begin with the free book Mastering Bitcoin, by Andreas Antonopoulos.

You can read it for free at github.

https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook

Thanks so much for your invaluable guide.

But I need a clarification from you.
I have also been instructed and advised to take some online courses on the same subject.

Between books and courses which should I focus more on?

Welcome to this community op. Just try to explore this community and acquire some knowledge. Can you please elaborate on what kind of career you are asking?

Thank you.
My career focus is to be focused on acquiring technical knowledge of bitcoin. This will help me to position myself as a knowledgeable cryptocurrency copywriter.
Secondly, I want to become a trader that really knows what he is doing.

Hope this will clarify my post?

Crypto and Blockchain technology is very vast. It is good to start with the Basics first which gives you the foundation to understand other projects. Also, you need to build your technical skills through some online education platforms that offer courses. I am sharing some articles which may help you in your study -

Thanks for your guide. I'll go through the materials you highlighted in your reply.

I would like to add this and I think these sources below will be your best source to learn about Blockchain developing.
There are many different programming languages inside including "Buiding your DIY Blockchain" which is a good start to learn.

- https://github.com/jashmenn/bitcoin-reading-list
- https://github.com/Xel/Blockchain-stuff

Other links are already posted above.

I'm not a developer but I like to collect useful stuff like the links above.

The only thing that I'd like to suggest is to learn basic first before you go into deep/advanced development.

"Don't forget to read the awesome blockchain because it contains all of your needs you can find it at the bottom of that page."

Thanks for the comment. I will surely check the links and study the materials.

Welcome to blochchian technology and cryptocurrency market.
It is easier for people to answer your questions if you ask specific questions.
What purpose do you come to blockchian?
What do you want ?
Do you want to be a trader or a technology developer?

To provide answer to your question, I'll like to say these:
1. As one that's passionate about tech I'll love to understand the technology.
2. I want to be a good trader.

Thanks

My major objectives for joining this platform are:
1. Desire to know the functionality of the technologies behind the bitcoin development.
2. Desire to understand how this decentralized currency work in comparison with the centralised fiat currencies.
3. Understanding the trends of bitcoin and other altcoins thereby maximizing such insights.
4.Contributing knowledge and ideas to the growth of the Community in  profound ways.
Well to achieve fourth step you need to deeply understand first three.
That is huge but interesting task ahead of you.

Welcome and i wish you have fun in this great adventure, maybe start from basics like bitcoin documentaries (shallow knowledge but needed first).
Then more and more advanced guides/articles up to studying Bitcoin code itself (Cheesy for hardcore Bitcoin enthusiasts)

Thanks so much.
According to Barrack Obama hard work is hard. So, I know in order to attain the above objectives it'll be demanding but all skills are learnable.

Therefore, I'm ready to commit to the process to get to the destination. I'll abide by your advice by starting from the basics, even rocket science has a basic.

 Thank you once again.

Selecting the best one out of good ones are probably difficult, but you should at least know to filter out scammers. There are dozens of scams out there and many of them have been documented on this forum. Most of them use either:
1. Fake team profile.
2. Fake job CV.
3. Plagiarism across many documents.
4. Fake registration or shared address/registration number.
5. Even as far as paying someone to pose as their team member (so, they're not working but just got paid for smiling).

After you filter them out, you can start learning the goal of the project, is it feasible to achieve, how's the competition, what's their strenght and weakness, can you make a good living if you work with them, etc.
