I don't think it is a good move by amazon as they might already see other who are embracing the blockchain technology into their business. For me, there's nothing wrong with that move but it's a move that make amazon not to left behind against its competitors.

If Amazon accepts bitcoin then the world has to use Bitcoin and the Paypal goes into mud.
IT would be easier to pay or accept money in Bitcoin than on Amazon without any restrictions.

Yes, no one like to wait for a long time to get the confirmation of payment. But we know if we pay the fees high the payment goes fast but there is one more problem we don't like to pay fees high. But there is one thing where is the problem there is a solution. We can see any good news anytime and We will see soon.

I think if they partner up with companies like bitpay, this could save Amazon the headaches that come with crypto and make it useable but with volatility in the equation, bitcoin will remain to be  unstable to adopt.

Amazon is pretty good at reading opportunities about the importance of crypto in the future, whether later as a payment method or even becoming a currency in several countries, surely Amazon and Crypto will have a major impact on the development of digital assets and also changes in future payment methods

I see a lot of people pushing for companies like Amazon to accept Bitcoin as a payment option. Have we considered the

implications of these decisions? Let's say we cannot scale to "service" the need for millions of new people who would use

this technology for the first time. What a big embarrassment would it be, if people waited 13 hours for their transactions to

be confirmed. Doing this now will hurt Bitcoin more than any other "bad" thing that has happened to it before.

We need to wait for the perfect scaling solution to address this problem, before Amazon or any other big retailer starts to

accept Bitcoin as a payment option. The Lightning Network might get us close, but it is not a proven technology yet.

Let's hear your thoughts on this?  Huh Huh
I have never seen any big and well known company just like Amazon accepting Bitcoin as payment. Although I don’t know the reason why, I also believe that nobody can tell the reason why except those that are working for Amazon, they are the only ones that can tell why its not to be accepted by them cause they know how their system works. The only thing companies like this can do is to backup and sponsor cryptocurrency exchanges, that’s the best they can do.

bitcoin will be difficult to serve large-scale transactions at one time and this will be a serious problem where users will feel disadvantaged by the length of this process, all they know is to buy and receive goods as fast as they want.
but if bitcoin is not capable then many other crypto have faster transaction services on a larger scale such as ripple and others

in my opinion it's a good sign for the development of cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin, the lack of confirmation that is too long, maybe that must be improved to improve services and or can choose another cryptocurrency. this is only my personal opinion

Bitcoin may need Amazon for its adoption, but Amazon doesn't need BTC. OK, it may help to increase sales, but how much 0.001% of the total sales? In the other side, Bitcoin could benefit from Amazon integration to spread the word about cryptos since you can buy Anything from Amazon Marketplace.

I don’t see any much disadvantages in Amazon accepting Bitcoin as a payment method except that transaction takes a few minutes and not hours like you said. If Amazon accepts Bitcoin, it will raise people’s interests and lots of people would love to try out Bitcoin and see how it works.

And by the way, the time it takes for your transaction to be confirmed depends on the fees to chose to pay; priority or regular fees. If you choose priority, your payment will be processed faster.

Well the thing is, the transaction is not instant, and yes in some cases it can take several hours if you are not willing to pay a reasonable fee. The thing is, some are not willing to pay a $5 fee if they buy a book that costs $10 (that's 33% fee).

In my opinion, Bitcoin would be more interesting and convenient to be accepted by flight companies, or car dealers, and obviously in the real estate. I very doubt Amazon will accept Bitcoin any time soon. Hope to be proved wrong of course.
I agree that there are some issues relating to transactions but as the use of crypto increases the developers will also go into new innovations in this technology. They will provide ease to its users and will overcome these issues soon. It in the future the use of crypto will be normal and we will have many transactions platforms, then I think nobody will wait for long time for his transitions.
It is good decision and to my knowledge there is nothing wrong in it. Many other big online companies also started accepting bitcoin as their payment method. By these steps company and customers both will feel ease and comfort. In the near future we will see that local markets also accepting bitcoin and there would be no need to take cash in your pockets.
Transaction is not a problem. With the passage of time transaction issue will be solved. The best thing is that amazon is accepting bitcoin for their payments and I will be happy to use my bitcoin while shopping online. Gradually more big companies will accept bitcoin as their payment and eventually the world will use bitcoin for their shopping anywhere in the world.
I think that we need to spread good news about the market, which can give good support to the market. I hope that if Amazon is accepting bitcoin for payment purposes this good for the bitcoin growth and popularity.

it looks like it will provide fresh air for those who have cryptocurrency will definitely be able to use transactions there and can get huge profits and can have a very good influence on cryptocurrency prices and can be very expensive because many platforms will start receiving cryptocurrency payments .

I don’t really see anything going wrong, except that those who don’t know how to make use of it would make serious mistakes at the start and will be losing their money by sending to the wrong address. We’ll, whatever you do there will always be people complaining, so it’s likely to be the same with this one if it happens, but the way things are working on Amazon are quite good so I don’t see any reason for them to use Bitcoin.

this should be applied to all blockchain online shopping so it's easy to reach the world's online shopping in a short and safe manner.
Amazon's decision is so precise that the management of their trading site is one of the world's most famous by serving the Bitcoin payment method. Amazon has a leading service innovation in blockchain technology. Smiley

in my opinion it's a good step taken and chosen by Amazon because maybe Amzon has realized that bitcoin will become very expensive in the future so that Amazon keeps and accepts bitcoin as much as they can by utilizing bitcoin payments they will be able to get bitcoin with a very large amount and it is also their strategy to attract increasingly high demand because there will definitely be lots of people shopping using bitcoin payments.
It is good what is wrong with it? I don’t think that there is anything wrong in it besides it is good for the rest of the people to invest their money in bitcoin and also good for holder because they will start using their coins if they want to buy something from amazon. Some other big companies have also started accepting bitcoin and gradually the world will follow them.
It’s simple you can use fake date while making your wallet address and it is right because correct data my create problems for you. Never give your personal data to anyone. I don’t think that Amazon will ask for customer’s data. They will never find any customer online while using cryptocurrency. I agree that providing personal data to law enforcement agencies is totally wrong.

Making payments with Bitcoin is not slow, not today, cause every payment I have been sending with Bitcoin is always fast with a little fee. Last payment I made and that was last week, the transaction fee charged was $0.08 for sending $70. A cheap fee despite I used priority.

So Bitcoin is good and there is nothing wrong with Amazon accepting it. There are disadvantages, but it wouldn’t be Amazon since it’s a matter of choice and you will be making payment with any method of your choice.

I am very happy to hear that Amzon has started to accept payments using bitcoin so that is a good signal and sign because with that development it is certain that many will try to use bitcoin transactions when making payments on Amazon. Hopefully this development can trigger other platforms to be able to use bitcoin as payment.

W12 – Blockchain protocol
That's a good news i wanna hear most of the time because we know how famous amazon is as far as e-commerce is concerned. With them embracing the blockchain technology can have its impact echoed across the globe prompting other companies to adopt the technology too.
