Why do you think this?
Amazon has not become the monster it is right now by not embracing new technology.
They have probably made the simulations tens of times and the results were not good.

Btw, Amazon is managing 35 orders a second, more than 3.5 millions a day.
All the transactions in the chain in the last day were only 300 000.

How many will buy stuff with bitcoin from amazon and how many of those were avoiding amazon before because they couldn't pay with coins?

I dont think on short term Amazon will accept bitcoin, as soon as it is recognized and is accepted widely there is a very good chance Amazon will eventually accept payments with bitcoin, to be honest I dont even know why they shouldn't, bitcoin has proven itself to be steady and it would benefit Amazon also, this of course would be huge news and cryptocurrency lovers as myself would me madly happy once the news comes out.

The news is fake, it is still a long way before big guns like Amazon can adopt bitcoin, the volatility of bitcoin is not healthy for retail businesses as it still needs fiat currency for his operations.

This might be pure speculation only, but it is benefiting BTC, and giving a increase in BTC value. More news like this would be so good for BTC! If Amazon accepts, then this would make BTC increase it's value more and more, because many people would start using BTC for buying stuff on Amazon!

Sure this would be nice in terms of bitcoin mass adoption or as a support to BTC in general.
But lets be realistic: to do business or especially a trade business like amazon does BTC at the moment is way too volatile.
If there are 20% swings in value compared to any fiat currency in one day it would be really hard for amazon to calculate their business.
Furthermore there are other problems that are not really solved at the moment, ie the number of transactions in a given timeframe or even legal issues.
So imo its a long way for bitcoin to get there.
I say its possible and also i believe in it but it will take some time.
No need to hype yet.

I reaally want to believe this news is true but since the website you mentioned is not a trusted news source I don't think its true. This kind of news would have been caught by the like of coindesk or the reddit bitcoin community but since no trusted news source said anything , this news is defiantly fake. Please next time try to check the authenticity of the news before posting here and getting everyone excited.

i think so someone spreading rumors about amazon as amazon is big dealing company of online nowadays it's natural to have rumors news. without government official announcement regarding bitcoins no one can make it official because it will be illegal.

If Amazon will accept bitcoin then the news will be wide spreaded in different sites especially the social media sites and a lot of sites that makes news about bitcoin will surely launch it but it seems that there is no signs that the news or about this thread is true because the amazon is still not accepting bitcoin and even though it will not widely spreaded then we can actually see the growth in the price.

Probably fake news, but it would be really good for whole crypto world if some global company like Amazon started accepting BTC for payment.
