So I backed up my wallet.dat file. INstalled the new wallet and everything seems normal. Can I unlock it now and start staking again? It still says I'm out of sync. Do I have to backup my wallet.dat file, then delete the ambercoin folder/uninstall the ambercoin wallet completely then reinstall? It now says I'm synced up. Am I making this too complicated? Is it really that easy just install a new wallet? I haven't needed my backup wallet file I don't think. Is the backup just in case something goes wrong?

hmm i left my wallet running at home, forgot about update. wont be able to turn it off for another 3 hours. hope it doesnt mess things up for ya, already had it backed up of course.

im watching more time the last site and i think more people watch just the last pages where they stoped reading. from alone i dont read much time the op

You know that the fact that both versions are not avaible at the moment is somehow a problem? Anyway you already send a message to Yobit? they no longer update from themself the wallets and wants to get updated about any updates/forks

Then updated.
Then at 19-00 GMT it will be public again but with new wallet code.

waiting for the new wallet

Fortunately I have just stake my 46k coin age (worth 31 AMBER before update, will worth only 9 AMBER after update) today, so that I won't loss my stake due to lower interest I as well would like to see the new wallet. Exciting things for Ambercoin are about to come and I think this is only the beginning. Price has been skyrocketing in the last days, with yesterday being at $0.04 per AMBER. This is certainly good news. If you analyze the charts at Coinmarketcap, you can see that it is mostly going upward.
