Hikuro, you are probably right with your assessment of the 'new' company situation.

Regarding UseCryptos, very disappointing. Back in the old days, I made good money with some trades there. I've recovered most of the assets from this exchange, but a fiat withdrawal is still 'pending' for months and no one is responding to any support tickets. Pity that this exchange has gone rogue.

I want to exchange my AmberCoin with Amber goods, how to do this?

If you read the feb 19 "dormant" account it lists 5 million in assets and the reason why they are filed as dormant... section 480 of the companies act of 2006.

480 Dormant companies: conditions for exemption from audit

(1)A company is exempt from the requirements of this Act relating to the audit of accounts in respect of a financial year if—

(a)it has been dormant since its formation, or

(b)it has been dormant since the end of the previous financial year and the following conditions are met.

(2)The conditions are that the company—

(a)as regards its individual accounts for the financial year in question—

(i)is entitled to prepare accounts in accordance with the small companies regime (see sections 381 to 384), or

(ii)would be so entitled but for having been a public company or a member of an ineligible group, and

(b)is not required to prepare group accounts for that year.

(3)This section has effect subject to—

    section 475(2) and (3) (requirements as to statements to be contained in balance sheet),

    section 476 (right of members to require audit), and

    section 481 (companies excluded from dormant companies exemption).

I think that is their exact plan. However if we are solid in warning other users, they will fail and we at least get some part or our 'revenge'.
Seeing that the company is dormant means sueing them hold no stance.

I think everyone will be waiting for that moment if it will ever happen.
The people that bought around 1k sat as well so there could be massive dumps.
What i think will probably happen is that This "New" company will run a "nice" ICO to steal some more money and then just do nothing and let it bleed out.
They Stole at least one year worth of dividends from their investors If they are not a PONZI.

I almost wish that this new 'token' from this 'new' company will actually pay out in the beginning to drive new investers people to be scammed, that way maybe I can get a little of my money back. But ultimately I suppose I'd rather that money just be gone then anybody else being tricked out of their money. Regardless I'll be exchanging my useless amber for the useless tokens just in case, but I have no hope of getting anything from them.

In other scam news, it looks like UseCryptos was a long scam. Had some Rimbit(not sure if that was ever a scam or just poorly realized) and bitcoin on there for a long time, finally went to pull my bitcoin out when I saw it hit $1000/btc, and evidently they just took all the coins and disappeared. Think I'll be sticking to the stock market from now on.

Well Amber Company wants to be alive with a new ICO so they can get more money from investors. But from how I am looking at it. You can't start fresh if you owe dividends.
And apart from that they should work on their communication skills and proof themself, which i doubt will happen.

They have seen big money from; likes, waves etc and thing they can achieve the same.

Forgetting they scammed tons of investors...

Just tried to find some information about suntri on google, nope, no info at all. I've seen a lot of press release, serious one end with a short description (CV) of the companies. Here is nothing. I don't think they really exist, but would be good if someone could proof me wrong

Luckily got rid of all my amber coins and kept all those Bitcoins (which doubled in value )

One of the best scams in crypto and looks like they keep going.

It's sad that those scams are hurting crypto going forward, I think best is to take their websites down to protect future victims

I got rid of all my amber in December of 2015 when the ship started sinking faster than titanic. I had losses even back then, but at least I didn't lose it all.

Bullshit they found their profit , their investors money was their profit.
1 If they where legit where did the revenue of the last year go ?
2 Why did they lie and stall for over a year.
3 where did ambercoindev go all this time.

It was never a startup it was allways a ponzi and now they are trying to recruit people from their old ponzi to their new ponzi 2.0 Maybe if u get in first u will get your money back , probably not.

No mention of the what 4 - 5 dividends payments they missed .. lovly.
Now they are entering the Minerals market ow joy .. its not like there are a few dozen professional companys doing this allready .. But these ambercoin people bring something new and unique that none of those other companys can do and wil make all of us big bank!
