HardFork is being prepared to 19-00GMT today.
You will need to upgrade your wallets.
Wallets will be available for downloading right after pools/exchanges are upgraded.

TO AVOID ANY COINS LOSSES PLEASE DO NOT MOVE YOUR COINS FOR SEVERAL HOURS BEGINNING FROM 18-00 GMT

Hard fork block - 116,000.
Now I start to work with pools, exchanges, block explorers.
Once they upgrade to a new version the new source code+WIN+MAC wallets will be available for downloading.
This should happen today at 19-00 GMT. Time can be changed!!!

This hardfork contains the following changes:

1. New POW blocks rewards:
   2 - 721 : 1 AMBER
   722 - 1,441 : 9 AMBER
   1,442 - 116,000 : 20 AMBER
   116,001 - 150,000 : 4 AMBER
   150,001 - 200,000 : 2 AMBER
   200,001 - 250,000 : 1 AMBER
   250,001 - 1,000,000: 0.5 AMBER
   1,000,001 - 2,000,000: 0.1 AMBER

where block #116,000 is a hard fork block number.

3. Will be added 1 hardcoded node.

POS functionality that is described below will be added to a code later (within approx. 10 days).
Because it need to be properly tested.
No other coin has such a POS type. So AmberCoin will be the first one.

2. The new POS.
POS will not be usual - address will take part in staking only if its balance is over 10,000 AMBER.
There is no matter for POS staking if the wallet is registered or not.

Annual POS stakes will be the following:
   1- st year: 10%
   2-nd year: 3%
   3-rd year: 0.5%
   4-th year: 0.5%
   5-th year: 0.5%
   6-th year: 0.5%
   7-th year: 0.5%

No, you will get 1/90 dividends. for you have one day of Q2.

I see it as a milestone reward for getting to a certain level. Call it a minimum commitment before you can reap further benefits. Also with everyone nicely invested in the coin will only help the coin!
