I am staking, but mint no Amber.

I am pretty sure that the POS portion has not been activated yet.  I believe it is going to be a new wallet release unless I am mistaking.

@canman click the green speaker symbol under last blocks found. pretty much scroll all the way down on your dashboard, once you click it, it will turn red and stop making a sound each time a block is found.

@AmberCoinDev - Will you be releasing any FPGA software at all in the future?  Or will it be primarily a GPU only coin?  Just curious.
- pokeytex

At this point we didn't think about that.
For now there are no plans to release any FPGA software.
What will be in future - will see Wink

Ok - ty - one could hope!  Wink

It is the way how all crypto works: every time you send even 1 coin from the address A remaining coins are being returned to a different address B

Guess I have never traced it, thanks for the info Wink

wow... with the quarry closing post i almost jokingly posted "sell your amber now!" i'm glad i didn't because i would've felt guilty for somebody dumping... and i would've had way more than that .0015 in dust waiting to get 20 or so coins lol. i did get a reasonable amount when somebody was dumping during the yobit syncing issue. that was a great 24-36 hours.

kudos on looking out for the environment. mining is harsh on the land and it's great to see efforts taken to minimize the effects. part of my property was used for peat mining late 70's/early 80's, so i can really appreciate restoration attempts. too bad for you amber won't reform as quickly as my peat bog. how many active quarries does y'all have? i know somewhere early on i saw proven 10 ton reserve stat... any info on how much y'all are mining quarterly?

yes,its better if Ambercoin in strong hands

i broke the send button on my wallet Smiley

Damnit to hell.  I wish I had my BTC in C-Cex for that sell off.  Good fortune to those of you that made out!  I will be transferring some BTC shortly for the weak hands.  Thanks.

Wallet address from main post (with not sold coins) is outdated.
Whats the reason behind moving it so many times anyway?

Thanks.
I have corrected the address in OP.

From the pictures, the 3 bags of raw Amber are about 150 kilogram? how much do they worth?

No.
One bag weighs less than 50kg. I think it is closer to 30kg.
Amber is a light material.

As for price - it depends on fraction of Amber and its quality. Fraction is a range of weight of each stone.
You can see a different fractions here - http://amber-trade.com/products/ (first 6 fotos).

As I do not really know what fractions are in the bags it is hard to determine how much they worth.
The most likely that in the bags is a mix of different fractions of amber.
There is no possibility to sort it in a "field".
Usually amber is being sorted on fractions later.

For example, the price of 1kg of "minus" is $50-$180.
1kg of "20" - $4000+.

So, such a bag can be worth about $1,500 or more than a $100,000 depending on fraction.

Amber Trade LTD has closed one of its quarries

In March of 2015 Amber Trade LTD has closed one of its quarries for industrial mining. Further, company’s staff has been mining remaining amber in manual mode during 2 months.

Now this quarry is completely worked out. Company has started measures to restore the environment. After a while there will be planted young forest. That is how full cycle of amber mining looks like. Amber Trade LTD cares about the environment unlike the black miners does.

That looks like a serious set-up.  Also, looks like a lot of amber came out of there! :-)
