I'm pretty sure that C-Cex has updated their wallet. I've been sending AMBER from them to my wallet over the last few days and after today purchases and receiving those last few transactions that puts my over the 10k AMBER needed to stake and be a share holder.  With only 130 more blocks until the fork.

did c-cex already update the latest wallet?
i've sent my coin from yobit to c-cex but i still didn't receive it yet..

i actually had a bunch of undefined or unused parameter errors (i think, purely going off memory of watching the screen yesterday) when compiling, i closed the window after determining everything worked. i used qt-creator and the command line to see if either way would produce fewer whatevers with no luck. i use ubuntu, but probably not very well lol. long story short wallet synced up and runs great, compiling was bit off for me but it didn't matter in the end.

Just in case if you didn't resolve this problem yet:

You do not need to run ./build_detect_platform directly. After making "chmod +x ./build_detect_platfrom", just go back to "src" folder and use " make -f makefile.unix "USE_UPNP=-" " or whatever command you used before. The wallet will compile fine this time.

It is only ~2M coins left that will be sold @0.02$ per AmberCoin because company has promised that.
The price of further rounds will be higher.

its now strong on 5k. even its hard to get it under 6k per amber.i think it will go tru 7k and will be stop there till all ambers sold out from the company.than we can talk about higher rates

Never mind.  I restarted it with rescan option and then restarted it again and it synced.

My wallet is not syncing.  It seems to be stuck at 54 blocks remaining.

Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me? 

I tried closing it and opening it again a couple of times and I get the same result.

Dear Amber Management,

Please reconsider of allowing join wallet system to hunt dividend only, it's not really benefit the company and all shareholders in the long term.

The company already make official decision on MINIMUM 10k amber investment and many investor have enough commitment to invest 10k amber to support the company, that commitment should be respect by not allowing people that have less effort to buy the minimal amount instead making a system that try to manipulate the company decision, i understand the join wallet system will benefit small ambercoin owner however there are many better way to give incentive to the small ambercoin holder. rather than allocating more fund to give extra dividend to another 5-10 or a little more join wallet owner, i believe there are more effective way to spend the dividend/company profit :

1. Company can hire professional graphic designer to make a informative Infographic to describe the world potential of Amber business and use the material for media release to get better PR and marketing and reach more investor.
2. Company can use the fund to create a better communication channel between shareholders and management, company will benefit from share of free idea, advice, even future investment.
3. Company can use the fund to explore the implementation of smart contract in the Ambercoin blockchain and use the technology to gain competitive advantage over competitors.

I can list much more useful benefit of company profit allocation than to support system that benefit any small number of people in short term, plus it will save a lot of time and trouble if some of the join wallet is not trustworthy enough and run with the fund.

One of the goal of adapting cryptocurrency in to company operational is to create trust less management and cooperative system between shareholders, management and staff, and by supporting the join wallet system that rely on individual trust will betray that goal, let us all try to build professional sustainable company for long term profit and achieve company vision by start practicing good management. Thank you.

You should run this command in the leveldb folder.  chmod +x ./build_detect_platfrom
Then the leveldb files will make.
