Wow, I didn't check this thread a while and see a lot of discussion about this new coin and the "swap". I'm wondering why so many people are wasting their time on it instead of looking a bit into the past. Were the past 12 months not enough to learn our lesson? What we got were just lies and empty promises: What happened with the dividends that were delayed quoter after quarter and never paid, what happened with the buy back guaranty, what happened with the new management and their decisions comping always "next week", and of course what happen with core business of the company, the ambers stones, that were so valuable, but we never saw a profit out of them. And last but not least, what happened with us, the investors: we were real investors in Amber trade, at least this was the official statement, so were are our shares and dividends??!?!?

It seems, most of the community forget too fast the past and focus on the new scam schema. Of course, it's crypto, so nothing unusual Wink
but please take the time and read some posts here from the past before giving them your money.
I wouldn't do it.

Just my two cents, a silent bag holder Wink

Well I'm sure not a single ambercoin holder will part with a penny for RBC tokens but if its possible to trade next to worthless Ambercoins for another pipedream that might be a different story.

They did hold on to the domain for some reason they did start again , they could have just made a whole new scam but they choose to stay with ambercoin for some reason.(I don't get how they could assume that people that already got burnt would give them more Money.)

The project supports the government of the Republic of Guinea
A letter from the office of the President of the Republic of Guinea

Is anyone in Guinea?

Likely part of a scam
1. The e-mail addresses are all yahoo/gmail despite govt having .gov.gn addresses - although doesn't mean much by itself in Guinee
2. I can find no minister in the list of government roles that is Secretary of State for Presidential Investments which, to the best of my French is what it's billed as
3. I can find no record of the people mentioned here anywhere that has ties to Guinea government
4. Translating from French the letter simply says that RBC have asked for a meeting stating they are interested and have been fobbed off from a mid-level civil servant to an even lower-ranking one.  There is no backing or support expressed - in fact I believe it says that there have been objections and RBC want to come to discuss it (native French speaker may be better than me or Google translate here).  It also doesn't mention mining licenses required - rather just about blockchain.

Not that it really matters on the scam front but the more you know - either way I'm stoked for my 760% value increase.  100:1 means 20,000 AMBER down to 200, 760% value increase means 1520.  The best part of all those numbers though is they tie back to $0 in worth Smiley

This RBC swap seems to be just another Russian scam...
Done very unprofessional way, clearly just aimed at collecting more money (and *maybe* making a shitcoin for PnD, but this second part is optional).

 - according to their own swap schedule, they should be in the middle of the swap. However blockchain issues are unaddressed, and coins at C-Cex are still locked.
 - zero communication here, very bad communication via email
 - the "bonus" scheme (beneficial swap terms for native new investors) looks extremely shady. Just a trap for greedy ones. Smells scam from 1000 meters.

I suspect those are some completely unrelated people who just bought the Amber-trade domain. And based on their behaviour, there are just a couple of those pranksters "working" there on their spare time.

They perfectly know the main part of Ambercoin community is following here on BCT, but they are smart enough to not post here, because they would get a lot of uncomfortable questions, which they never can address.

P.S. Well, that is just my unbiased assestment. Would be happy to see myself proved wrong on this... but alas, duck test usually is giving pretty much precise results Smiley

Ye I agree it looks like a clusterfuck.
I have not gotten anymore response since the first email I got from them.

But I can tell u one thing ,, the second they will start to advertise or try and sell their RBC tokens ill be there warning everyone not to give them a single cent.

They could have just made a brandnew "scam/company" but instead they choose to fuck with the Ambercoin holders Again .. they will pay for that.

Hello,

thank you for your e-mail !

20-21 of June we will send every shareholder e-mail with instruction how to exchange Amber to RBC.
Some days later we will start exchange process.

Next week we are going to sort out situation with exchanges.

Best regards,
RBC team.
"

So at least something is happening , The 100-1 issue still has to be addressed but  at least there is communication.

Allthough Sorting out the situation with the  exchanges should happen Before exchange process is started but ok.

Dear RBC team
So whats the deal getting the blockchain moving so Exchanges can allow INVESTORS to move their coins Huh

Anyone exchanged RBC tokens?  The deadline is coming.

Did anyone received a mail arlready? I for one did not get an email from them?

I got the email too but I dumped my AMBER a long time ago.  I think I have 50 left on C-CEX which I can't withdraw because the fee is more than the coins are worth!   In any case, the email explains how to attach a RBC token to a ETH address and it asks for some information about you and your AMBER.

Good luck.
