AMC___: got that?
Yes

As per Ukto Bitfunder.com God, I have post all AMC IPO shares at .0005

So does this mean:

a) the crazyness is over?
b) once this block of IPO shares is sold, the market will be free to find a value without your interference?
c) any further shares per your original plan will be sold at a minimum of .001 btc?

More updated predictions taking into account more variables. Please examine all numbers carefully. Smiley

Please take everything with a grain of salt (!), as these are only previsions based on speculative data. I welcome any contributions for accuracy! Wink

Comments:
  • Upfront Avalon 10k chips cost of BTC1000 for each 10k chip order + board assembly, conservative scenario of 3 month delivery from order to mining start
  • Network hashrate assumes a 15% increase per month (geometric progression, r=1.15), with an estimated 381TH/s by december.
  • Operating expenses estimated at 10%.
  • Share valuation reflects the % of accumulated profit/share divided by the bought share price. A 100% figure means the share price is fully paid by earned dividends.
  • Used my estimations on sold share price as described below; will correct when precise figures are released
  • In may/14 the issuer starts receiving dividends on 60,000,000 shares, which are also free to use for any growth/expansion/investment purpose; in any case, the displayed share valuation takes into account no benefits coming from the issuer's funds (so you can see what you'll receive in the worst case scenario)

I am not claiming I am a semiconductor expert. I am just saying I have experience and am involved in semiconductor manufacturing and have seen a thing or two.

I got my degree at a school with a full blown clean room, probably one of the best in the academic world. I've completed two projects making CMOS and photonic devices. (all nine yards, from conception to final test.) It is not that unrealistic for a small business to do it and that's what I am saying. Grad school students do this kind of stuff all the time using govnt funding which mind you is usually not THAT high. Also, you can always take out a loan to fund it and its not always "pay up front" with the manufacturers.

Of course, you should be skeptical but for things to work you have to know when to give the benefit of a doubt. Besides we need many competing mining entities for bitcoin to work just in case you didn't know.
I do not disagree with you.   we need more asics but we need them from companies like you describe in your post.   Ones that develop and build on their own dime and then sell people some that is handed to FedEx or UPS the SAME DAY as the customer pays.   We have had enough with false promises.   I am very skeptical of someone that makes claims and then manipulates the very stock he is "issuing".    I will believe in K Slaughter when he shows us proof of something other than 6 Avalon orders.

DeVry is now selling "advanced" degrees in semiconductor manufacturing?   I thought only ITT Tech was doing that?
No need to be like that.
You are right, it was rude to DeVry and ITT as they are good schools.  I apologize.
It was not rude to the poster.   He put out a claim of expertise and then posted two links RIGHT after the claim that prove he does not know what he is talking about.   He should not post a claim that is false in a blog where someone might believe him and lose their money because "a semi conductor expert" said you could make a mask for "$10,000".   That is frightening that anyone would think that to be true but it would be IMPOSSIBLE that someone with his credentials (claimed credentials) to think that.
I only respond to things that seem VERY out of place in this blog, you can make your own decisions on whether to "invest" or not.   I am just calling out very blatant things that should be questioned (and answered).

Lets start with this. http://siliconwafer.org/index.html
And so you know... I have an advanced degree in semiconductor manufacturing.
DeVry is now selling "advanced" degrees in semiconductor manufacturing?   I thought only ITT Tech was doing that?

And I do not mean that to be insulting Nebulus but you have said you have an advanced degree in semiconductor manufacturing but one post later you cite a blog entry by A SOFTWARE developer with an undergrad degree and wrote that article based on blog entries of what various people "said" their costs were.
Given your education, I would think you would be more expert in costing than the person you cited.   You also cite costs of 130 and 110.   Slaughter is claiming 45 and 28.   He is also "claiming" to have designed the masks months ago yet he JUST signed an NDA in San Jose a few weeks ago.   You should know that this would seem like BS, given after signing the NDA, the next stage would be VETTING by their legal department that will look to ensure he has a legitimate business plan and funds available.
How do you think the VETTING process would go?   These are not fly by night companies.   Saying "I will get funding as soon as I illegally sell some shares in my company on a virtual exchange" is probably not the answer they want to hear.
But you should know all this since you work in the semi conductor industry right?   And you would know that he is months away from getting to the design process if he has not EVEN BEEN VETTED TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT YET.   So, knowing all this (as a semiconductor expert), you must be as SKEPTICAL as I am that this is nothing more than a pump and dump with someone getting kids excited about valuing a company that has $9,000 worth of avalons coming at $2-10 Million.

Great stuff. Thanks for your time on this.

Np, I'm already doing it for myself.

Bottom line: KS, please only sell the least amount of shares needed for immediate expenses, as the dividends in the medium-term will be more than enough for any new investment! Smiley

We should be seeing a status report within the next few weeks, so will be interesting to see how your numbers align.

Nice one.  Smiley

Yes, Get close on the Avalon's, someone received their info where they purchased on the 17th, we are on the 18th.  The first 3 are at order # 1245 which is a low number in the batch.

Lookout naysayers! Them's fightin' words.

On these latest estimates I've taken into account a cost of BTC1000 for each 10k chip order + board assembly, and an even more conservative scenario of 3 month delivery from order to mining start.

Please take everything with a grain of salt (!), as these are only previsions based on speculative data.

I welcome any contributions for accuracy! Smiley

Baseline scenario:
  • Avalon 10k chips (order #2) is done around 1st july.
  • Network hashrate assumes a 15% increase per month (geometric progression, r=1.15), with an estimated 381TH/s by december.
  • Operating expenses estimated at 10%.
  • Dividends/share/month assume 40,000,000 shares
  • Outstanding shares assume 2,000,000 shares are sold, with not many more selling after that to keep the growth funds high
  • Growth/Expansion Fund dividends/m expresses income dividends from 40m shares less the outstanding shares sold to investors, which reflects the BTC reserved specifically for hardware buying
  • Share valuation reflects the % of accumulated profit/share divided by the bought share price. A 100% figure means the share price is fully paid by earned dividends.

Possible scenario:
  • New orders of 10k Avalon chips each month costing BTC1000 (order + assembly; linear progression).
  • Selling of AMC shares to investors in order to buy hardware isn't really a necessity after covering the BTC deficit in august/september, as it will bring down the available BTC to the growth fund. Even if no one buys more shares, the effect would only be a short delay between batch orders.
  • After september the trickle effect from the 2.8TH/month increase is substantial, with the growth fund keeping a very healthy balance for investing in even more hardware

Edited for clarity. Smiley
