The RX 580 and RX 570 are on sale I am seeing the MSI Radeon RX 580 8 GB for $249 and RX 570 4 GB for $199. Look forward to seeing the hash rate test.

so i'm guessing you have to do the whole signature check dance for the time being ?

I hope they launch drivers like the Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.11.5-Nov25 which does not need it for the new series, the whole signature check is a pain.

Great video, then 4xx series it is better (less price same hash rate) > more profit.

Right now in Italy the price are increasing, I think because of warehouse shortage.
I hope that after the 5XX release they will receive new stocks and lower the prices again

The only difference between these and the 470/480 is that they have a slightly better silicon lottery and can be clocked a little higher than the 4xx series.

Even if the clock is better on 5xx series, memory lottery still the same as 4xx series. There are cards which sucks on core and the memory is great and vice versa, now hitting mem and core lottery is hard. Some cards have 0 memory errors at 2250 and some cant even reach 2100 with 0 errors, same voltage settings and straps.

Also i see that all of RX580 8GB's seem to have the 8Ghz memory, maybe Samsung only cards???

As far as I can tell, 8GB for either 570 or 580 have different types of memory, is not a "Samsung only" like was on rx 4xx series, all rx 580 8gb I have seen so far use Hynix memory.

I'm checking the big stores in Europe like Mindfactory, Caseking, Computer Universe and so on, but are not listed as of now.

I'm realy wondering if there will be a substitute for a Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ 8GB.
That 8000Ghz memory was realy nice.

I think in Europe/Asia they should already be in stores so someone here already bought one or two.

In North America it doesn't get released for a few more hours..

Greetings.

Its April 18, the day we are supposed to see the new RX570/580 Series from AMD.
I am creating this thread, so we can share information about those in one thread.

Some Info from different brands and their speeds here:
https://videocardz.com/amd/radeon-500/radeon-rx-580
https://videocardz.com/amd/radeon-500/radeon-rx-570

I guess there is no 8000Mhz Samsung ram anymore for the RX570 Series, i hope its not true  Grin
I think there are many people, including myself, who have been waiting for the rebrand to build new rigs, so lets see if it's worth it.

Feel free to post info about different brands, bios moding and stuff you fell is relevant to this thread.
