on one rig, this driver restored the full hashrate (25 -> 27.8 ). On the second rig, it restored much less (25 -> 26.8 ).

One has windows 10, the other windows 10 creators edition.

Edit: nevermind. Claymore miner cannot set nor read clocks/fans/voltages for this driver.  Clocks were lower.

In the meantime other coins have become more profitable than ETH to mine, so getting Wattool to work with this matters less...  ETH seems to be dropping out of the best coins to mine pretty rapidly.

I would modify all my cards bios for the Eth settings, but with other coins being more profitable I cant justify the time to do that until Eth is more profitabke again, which may never happen...

Feking AMD. What kind of clowns release a blockchain driver that doesn't work with the most common blockchain mining applications? Fools.

I heard Aug 11 drivers + Trixx work for undervolt. Anyone else confirming this?

Give them a break, at least they are trying to help out miners which is more than they have ever done up until this point.

You also need to realize they are balancing dual priorities, on the one hand trying to help out miners with more performance, but at the same time they need to make sure their cards are operated within acceptable tolerance as to not cause extra support calls or even RMAs due to outright failures.

Can someone confirm that watt tool 0.92 does not and cannot change voltages on the latest driver?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nzciydd9kcyovfy/screenshot.png?dl=0

RX480+4xRX470 Work fine with the driver from 23.08

lol, yes works fine, except everything is 0 in wattool Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Look to the "Voltage offset" box

works only with cards that have the vddc offset added in to the voi, and that is a small percent of cards, you can believe me.

So, no difference from beta 1(11.08) and beta 2 (23.08) drivers?
No voltage adjustment?

Anyone here tried using the Win 7 driver with the Genoil eth miner program? Wondering if that maybe will work.

To quote from 3 posts before yours about my attempt to use this driver on a fresh Win 7 install,  "NO OPENCL SUPPORT both per GPU-Z and from trying to run openCL software like the DNet client, Claymore ZEC miner, and both Genoil and QTMiner for ETH - no matter what I tried, it flat out WOULD NOT INSTALL OpenCL."

Do note that Genoil was specifically listed as one of the programs I TRIED on it.

I can't speak to anything other than the R9 290 and A10-7860K specifically, but it doesn't work under Win 7 with a card it OFFICIALLY LISTS AS SUPPORTED....

Did you try installing the OpenCL runtime libraries from the AMD APP-SDK?

http://developer.amd.com/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk

No, as the needed OpenCL runtime files have traditionally for years been INCLUDED IN THE DRIVERS.

In fact, I can't REMEMBER the last time I needed to install those seprately in order to run OpenCL applications under Windows.

WattTool 0.92 is working with the beta drivers???
I think only offset work, you can't set voltages and clocks anymore.

WattTool 0.92 is working with the beta drivers???
Yes, and it works with 17.8.1 too.
But I only checked VRM monitoring and voltage offset changing.
Also it is card cpecific, wattool could not change offsets on some exotic non reference cards with unknown VRM controllers.

AMD updated beta for win10x64 (from Aug23) and win7:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-[Suspicious link removed]pute-Release-Notes.aspx
Both builds have same version of graphics driver - 22.19.659.0

Aug11 beta = 157MH/s ETH + 4670MH/s DCR
Aug23 beta = 157MH/s ETH + 4670MH/s DCR

Corrected link: http://[Suspicious link removed]/2vbaqFr

Looks like 8/23 beta, as they list, simply adds Vega support. Nothing else.
