Never ever allow yourself to get emotionally attached to any investment. It clouds your judgment, messes with your reasoning and screws up your decision-making at critical junctures. It´s just business, treat it as such.

And again, should the price go up again in a week or so, some people will have profited form shorting AMHASH, just like Bitcoin itself... it's a remarkable pattern, really! Very much like the micro-bubble that just popped from its top of $300...

I love amhash  Cheesy

Damn, didn´t think it´d be this soon. Here I am again starting to worry about that approaching cutoff point where my investment leaves the mining field for bitcoin heaven. And not only that but will this Havelock thing even be around. It´s all this constant uncertainty I hate about the bitcoin marketplace.

You know; uncertainty is what is absolutely most hated in serious markets. Therefore they have certain mechanisms in place to increase integrity, level the playing field and bolster confidence. Not so the bitcoin marketplace. Its philosophers, a very unhealthy mix of retarded libertarians, assorted kooks of weird beliefs and common criminal garbage boast about decentralization and so called "self-regulation". Obviously this insane congruence of dysfunctional behavior and bankrupt ideology has resulted in a paradise for criminals, total loss of confidence and trust and has thoroughly ensured that any real money absolutely avoids this mess. So, total lack of any real volume and buying interest and easy prey for short sellers. It´s psychotic self-destructive obsession -  very clearly.

Amen and qumen.

I could say that most likely AMHASH gives about as much eff about where the units trade as about the people they pick as resellers but of course I´m way too polite to even think such nonsense.

and thats why i like you so much always the propre gentleman despite of what gets thrown your way or what gets told or in some cases yelled lol as some people loose their tempers over such little things so fast often but other times we all have normal civil conversations. Thought the civil is not often lol  Shocked

A heads-up for intrepid investors & finance enthusiasts:
CryptoTrade is soon 2 B no moar.  Total warning given: 2 days:
Quote
Important Announcement!

Due to very low volume and lack of good userbase, Crypto-Trade has decided to shutdown permanently due to inability to cover its expenditures on rented servers , staff salary and site promotion. All the users are requested to withdraw their funds within 48 hours. The site will continue to process pending withdrawals till our private wallet is empty. The site will go offline on 29th January 6:00 UTC.

According to self-issued depressing .pdfs financials, Havelock has been operating at a loss throughout the span covered by these  lulzy excuses for not paying their shareholders documents, so faring no better.
When If Havelock finally shutters, your legal recourse against [allegedly] Panamanian Anons will be none.
Consider this when "investing" in "securities" on offer there.

  ~Happy Investing!

Wow two days notice, Burnside gave people a heck of a lot longer margin that that
As for havelock according to their financials and heck even the prediction sheet on trading volumes it's making about 500 dollars a week at the rate so 2,000 a month
Think it can avoid a shutter but we will see when the full year results come out sometime in February I guess.

Well, I doubt that Havelock is losing much on a volume of 250 BTC/week.

That crypto whatever, is that supposed to be connected to Havelock ?

Unless they've been lying through their teeth to their investors, yes, yes they are.  For maximum lulz go here: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reports.php & scroll down to "Havelock Investments Fund."
Last "financial statement" here:  https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reports.php

Re. connection to Havelock: CryptoTrade is the next largest "securities exchange,"  i.e. a website where Anons like to hang for surprise buttsecs.

And your full name is what, Jeremy W. NotLambchop ? You sound like a Jeremy somehow.

Capitulation like in fetal position under a desk. That sort of thing. Like this here message board in general despair and uproar.

It just didn´t look convincing to me. Maybe I´m wrong, I hope so. Only time will tell.

And no, I didn´t say it was too much volume. Just that for once when this thing gets significantly above the usual microscopic volume it´s a big down - looks bearish to me.

The market has gone down so much that bad news or big problems could send it as low as sub 100$ but if we don't get the bad news it is likely to recover to more than 300$ in a month. AMHash1 customers will profit nicely.

trust me i am waiting for the price of bitcoin to recover to $300 - $400 range. Like you said people with amhash1 will be making a nice profit, and those that bought when price dip low even more profit  Grin

Shares price meanwhile reached 0.00111000. Not bad in such a short time. Congrats to all who took the risk and bought a few days ago.

the current price point offers great reward for everyone who has held from day1 and those who entered in at the bottom have now doubled up their coins  Cool Grin Cheesy Cool

I agree at this price point anyone who bought  AMhash 3 at .0012 and held (like me  Grin) already made an ROI if they sold today.

this is stuff that makes me sad at times wish i had more faith and more steel balls and bought more instead of acting like affread little girl oh well no point in crying about it  now

Investing has nothing to do with balls or manliness.  Also, faith is not a requirement as far as AMHash goes.  You know exactly what you are getting.

i was not referring to actual balls like saying you have to be a man just want to clarify. I was just saying that if i had the confidence i would have bought up amhash at chaep prices. Its like if a friend gives you insider stock tip and you do not act on it out of fear and doubt, pretty much same thing i was trying to say  Cry

Just as reminder, for anyone selling there Bitcoins for Fiat Currency in the UK, the escrow website:

https://localbitcoins.com/

Sellers are getting 6%-7% over the Dollar conversion price.  The Uk's "Fast Payment" is free within the UK as well.

Always check feedback before selling, more then 20 feedback, verified identity, account must be in buyers name, etc

Every little bit helps Wink

wow 6-7 % conversion that is pretty steep i think

Prices are astonishing in the UK Huh

Localbitcoins website in the USA, you can actually buy Bitcoins below Bitstamp/Coindesk/BTC-E prices Cheesy

GTX 960 is $210 in the USA, in the UK (after dollar to pound conversion) is $288 Shocked

A 32% mark up in price and none of the manufacturers have their customers services in the UK Cheesy

I've been trying to get out of the UK 4 years, but it is like when you step in some Dog Sh*t, no matter how much you try to scrape it off, it always finds a way to keep itself glued to your sneakers  Wink Cheesy

lol well then thank you for the colorful word description  Tongue sounds like it might be time to just say screw it and throw away the whole shoe and get some new ones   Grin

Let me get this straight:  You think the bottom had too much volume to be capitulation.  How would you describe capitulation?

I agree, the last dip this month actually finally had a lot of volume and people were desperate. /r/bitcoin actually reached the state of acceptance, it seemed, they were posting a lot of sarcastic pictures. I'd be hesitant to short now!!!

Looks like we have recovered from the dip for the time being. 500 can be expected in 2015.

Customer service at Amhash is really poooooooor !!!!

I have requested moving hashes from AM to havelock as there are over 72 h delays, 2 first requests were turned down without any explanation as of why. 3rd one wiped out my hashes Sad

So my 700 ghs disappeared from AMhash, did not appear on Havelock when I do the hash rate checker it shows 700 GHS against my mail but I am not mining (do not receive payments).
Did rise a ticket bit have no answer.....

I would really want seriously invest in AM at this stage but just can not get it working right. Support does not respond to the tickets hashes are not mining and all of that on my expense... WHY HuhHuh?
