I'm not addicted but I want to win big real money  Grin

Everyone wants to win big, but how they achieve it differs according to our unique personalities, limits, and discipline. I'm sure you want to win big too, but you know when to call a spade a spade and when to say I'm done for the day and I can't wager any more money than this. However there are addicted people who can do anything far above their limit, they can do anything that will cause discomfort to themselves, their families, and everyone around them, they don't know when to stop, and that's the true definition of a person lost to gambling.

The urge that pushes us to gamble more can lead us to addiction as well. It is normal for people to aim for higher earning but the thing is as much as we want to get something the more we will hesitant to admit that we are slowly getting addicted. It is really hard to tell ourselves to be satisfied for a small earning but we can still gamble and take every penny as a big reward, we need to discipline ourselves, because that is the only way that help us not to get addicted.
Everyone who plays gambling wants big wins but unfortunately, many of them don't realize that to get big wins from gambling requires more money and of course, luck can't always be there for us. If we can realize that if we continue to play gambling and it is causing discomfort to us and our families and we can stop, it will help us to avoid addiction because we realize that what we are doing is wrong. We can also resist the urge to play gambling and can say no to continue gambling and finally we can stay away from gambling. It is indeed difficult to say that we are satisfied with what we have achieved from gambling but precisely therein lies the self-control that we must do to avoid gambling addiction.
Requires big money or bankroll for you to make out big base bets which is common sense but you could also potentially hit big multipliers even with just a small bankroll but of course most of the time you would be ending up on failing because you cant really be that versatile when you are just simply having small bankroll unlike when you do have huge amounts which is common sense. Luck is always be the main factor
whether you are playing strategically but that wont really be assuring win or profits in the end of the day.

Majority if the people who are in this forum and gambling are gambling for money and not entertainment or fun as some people will say. There is no fun in some gambling we see online. We have fun in betting for football, boxing and other sports that they act, so that when we watch we get entertained.
I can't say anything about others but I do gambling only for fun and my favorite sport is cricket. Rather, I also bet with my friends that which team is going to win this cricket match.

But there is no entertainment is dice games, it is for money purpose.
We are on same page here, i played it but i didn't find any fun in it.

The trial is just a preparation for the main gambling not alternative to playing with money.

I don't really agree with your statement. If I were gambling for money, I would probably after a few big losses quit because in fact in many gambling games it is much harder to win than to lose. So I play for fun (dopamine and adrenaline) and whether I win or not depends on luck and winning is a kind of bonus to the game.
Yah, I think he still hasn't experience the adrenaline rush we gamblers get from playing any kind of games that has money involved. I can see myself being entertained by playing dice games so the statement of Docnaster is pretty subjective. There are many who are addicted to such "gambling we see online", Some of those games who we see only are just recreation of games on real casino's like poker, blackjack and slots. Some of those gamblers seeks the entertainment they can get by playing it online.

I agree with you, we need to be honest with ourselves and take a good look at our own gambling habits. Gambling with the motivation to make big rewards and hit a jackpot one day is a valid dream, but we need to stay realistic about the chances hitting those big wins. I have been gambling for more than years and I am still waiting to break the jackpot one day. It's very rare occurrence and will only happen when I am really lucky. There is no point in lying to ourselves about the real reason we are gambling. In the past I played with playmoney at casinos to try out new strategies, also during my first year of playing online poker I played mostly with playmoney. It's a good way to learn and get used to casino layouts, the problem is that the winnings are not real. It felt like a missed opportunity every time I made a big win and players seemed to play a differently when it was not real money. In poker there were some players who only went all in or fold their cards, a bit boring to play against. I think long term there is no real alternative to gamble with real money, it's just not the same form of excitement.

A better suggestion and an alternative to quitting gambling completely is to start betting with fake money gambling apps. With FAKE MONEY GAMBLING APPS, you can continue gambling on the app even on live games, but with fake money. So in reality you can maintain the experience you derive from gambling and not loose any money except the fake one in the process.

Do you know that those who are addictive to gambling are the ones who actually want to win real money. The addiction is not about playing gambling only but the real addiction is to earn money through gambling. So if you keep this in mind, then gamblers would never agree to play with fake money. If this was the case then gamblers had a lot of option to play at other sites which are non-gambling one. No one will agree to play with fake money as per my thinking.

I think it depends on what goal the players are pursuing. If they spend their free time, they can play for fun. I remember when I was a kid, we played card games and the one who lost had to fulfill some harmless desire and in fact we were quite enough excitement. If a player is used to playing with real money then of course he will not be interested in playing with fake money, as the most important thing for him - encouragement - will be missing.

the same goes for people who don't want to be directly involved with gambling. they can play with fake money applications just to spend their leisure time after work activities.
I guess it all depends on one's needs and there's nothing wrong with this.

there are many members who agree that fake money gambling is not attractive to gamblers, of course yes it is clear and definite.
the gamblers will lose the strong desire to win and of course very boring, no satisfaction.
but if we can see it from various aspects, of course, fake money gambling applications will always have benefits, one of which I have said.
Another example might be that counterfeit money gambling applications can be used as an additional game alternative for a gambling addict who wants to get rid of his addiction, although in my opinion it is not effective.

You are very much mistaken. Gambling addicted person visits gambling platforms and casinos not just to play he comes there to try to win back his past losses so he most likely will not want to play gambling with fake money. In addition, such a game does not contribute at all to the fight against gambling.

Valid point. Most gambling addict people tend to be very impulsive in playing. There are times that they would withdraw from their bad habits but after a while, they will come back because they can't restrain themselves. This is already given since addiction can't be cured overnight and can't be just done and healed if band aid solutions will just be given. Just like with this proposed solution of gambling but not using real money. This could possibly help but it is not ideal for the long term.

Because eventually, gamblers will crave for more and will find ways to gain from playing. Because after all, most gamblers are here to play and win. If winning is not an issue, then the thrill would be what they will going to be after later on. The risk of betting is exciting when you know you can gain some or lose some.

I don't think that any real gambler can be distracted by playing for fake money, but I know that a lot of people (including me) play stupid incremental games.

This solution will only favor those that are gambling because of the pleasure and not financial assistance. The users that's gambling just for entertainment won't be bothered whether he's using fake or real money but that user that's gambling because his livelihood depends on it for daily bread won't be interested as this won't favor him in the long run. Unfortunately many gamblers are in because they need financial assistance instead of the fun of the exercise.

Gamblers are mostly addicted to the financial assistance that comes from Gambling so until that is been eliminated majority of the solution to gambling addiction will be unprogressive. There's a minority of gambling that gamble just because of entertainment (fun of gambling) so any solution that satisfied that addictive won't have much impact in the addictions sector of gambling.

Seriously? All that gamblers get from gambling is not financial assistance, but rather financial losses. I can understand that someone inexperienced believes in "earnings" on gambling, but any gambler who continues to play for years (usually this happens) while being in a deep minus understands that there are no earnings here.

That is some illusion they get from winning big a single time.If they happen to hit a big win normally their brain will "explode" in the dopamine it will emit and thus will make such people believe that by gambling they can hit again that big win but unfortunately only to find out that in the long run they will lose money.

It is simple,if that was not the case we would rarely see new casinos opening up every day rather we would see old casinos closing business everyday, since we don't see the second example then we remain in the first as we see it happens all the time.

I believe if one has decided to do something or to leave something. One should think so many times once decided should do it with full mind and heart.
If something is done with half mind - it will not be achieved and also the fake money is not helpful in fulfilling the persons need. Its purely waste of time
i agree with you. when a gambler wants to stop gambling but not with sincerity of mind and heart it will only waste time and in the end he will return to gambling again. all of this must be done seriously, at least avoiding the environment that affects gambling. moving residence to a place far from the gambling environment is one example of the seriousness of someone wanting to stop gambling.
and by keeping himself busy with work and in every spare time he does positive things such as holding fundraisers for people in need.

but if the gambler really has become an addict who is very difficult to stop but has the desire to stop gambling the only way is to ask for help from a psychologist

While it is true that those which are addicted to gambling are chasing the profits they believe they can get out of it, in theory it is possible someone could get addicted to gambling with play money, for example we know that video game addiction is real and the money you get there is not real and yet we see people which cannot stop playing their favorite video games, so while I think the number could be incredibly low there could be a few people out there addicted to gambling with play money.

In the sense of getting to addicted to the game yes and it's truly part of addictions, people are uncontrolled once they already have this kind of addictions, even it's just a play money that they are using but the adrenaline inside them is really high. Luckily, if ever, they are just using play money and the losses that they can only get are the time that they are spending inside the platform.

Maybe it's still addiction and only a few can be engaged to these kinds of activities, still far from real casino gamblers, where they both invest time and money to lose when they are inside the house.

In general, I agree that a very small number of gamblers will be interested in playing for fake money. But I want to clarify that gambling addiction is not just about the desire to make money, it is precisely the irresistible desire to continue the game, no matter what happens. I think that if you choose people with a gambling addiction, ask them about the amount that would suit them as a "final" win (having received which they would stop playing) and give them this money, then most of them will continue to play anyway.

I do not think those who are hooked up with gambling would go for such apps. They play with real money because that gives them excitement and satisfaction. Whatever the end result playing with real money takes you to another level when you earn profit.
well if they leave no choice? i mean if they have zero balance ? i think they will still choose this kind of stuff than doing nothing  Grin

and besides  gambling has something to do with excitement and the feeling of winning or losing .

Quote
Those who want to know how gambling works can try these apps but, they will get bored after sometimes as it will become monotonous. There is also a chance that some might try with non fake money and they might then get addicted.
actually i use to play in such site in the past and you are correct , if you happen to learn real gambling with money? then this will become a boring place to spend time and money.
