Did he now? Wow, such a big words for a man who hasn't beat any real boxer up until now. The odds and advantage are almost siding with him though because he has the youth, speed and more boxing bouts in his career, Anderson Silva is good but it was evident that he isn't good enough with against young heavy hitter like Paul. The fight is so close and I was expecting a draw already but that 8th round knockdown changed it.

My bet went to Silva but Jake won the fight, but this have not stopped me from supporting Silva, we all know that Silva's age was his first enemy before his opponent stepped in, there is no way we should compare a man in his late 40s to a man just in his mid 20s, there's a very huge gap there but even though i know that probability of Jake winning the fight was higher due to his young age, i still gave Silva my bet because even if Jake won, i see no honor in it.
Jake should stop fighting men that are already gone out of their prime and start fighting men in his age category, if not, his winnings will continue to be irrelevant to me .

I laughed when he said he want to fight Canelo. as much as I like how he performed in this match, it would be a mismatch if he fights Canelo. but if Canelo accepted it, it would gain so much attention and would definitely generate a lot of money(that's why I understand why he wants to fight Canelo).

I only see the highlight of the fight on Youtube, compared to the past fights of Jake Paul, this is a more competitive one I was surprised by the score, it should have been close because Silva is giving Paul a lot of clean punches, that knockdown on the final round gives Paul the edge on the judges' scorecard, Jake Paul's journey continues and he is now calling Nate Diaz this time.
Silva can also move forward with his boxing he is still good.

About what I expected. Jake Paul looked good and so did Silva. I’m the end though it was the 8th round knockdown that won the fight for him. If it wasn’t for that momentary lapse then I think people would be debating who won the fight. I don’t think Silva was hurt at all, which is great, but he did take a good shot and lost his balance tumbling backwards. Everyone with money on Paul is happy. He said he wanted Nate Diaz or Canelo next.

When it's about manipulation, Jake Paul will win the fight, that's why I never think Silva will win here. Silva is an old fighter and he doesn't have any good record, so Silva will let Jake Paul win to get easy money. Just like Tyron Woodley who's a beast on UFC, but as we can see his performance against Paul is really bad, he lose two times against Paul. If Paul already challenge a real boxer who have light heavyweight belts, then Paul will 100% lose on that's fight.

Technically speaking and let's say they are 100% serious, Jake Paul might has the upper hand here. Even Anderson Silva is an experienced fighter, his body might not cooperate according to his will because obviously, the capability is not present now.

But either way, I won't place a bet at this fight as maybe there might be irregularities here or sort of manipulation. Who knows.

For me, this fight could be defined in a technical way, as you have said, these boxers are very gentlemen among themselves, I do not see that there is much bad rivalry, but sports rivalry, which is what should always exist, and not the humiliation that always Some boxers are made, I think that to attract attention, here they put in context two boxers who may have a lot of respect but who only have to fight as much as possible for that respect and you say who will be the best, of course for me This can be defined in a very technical way, but anything can happen in boxing, both boxers have a lot of potential.

Even in their press conference it seemed like they already were expecting Jake Paul to win. They basically announced a new organization to provide better health care to UFC fighters and Anderson Silva will be the President if he loses. If Silva wins then Jake will kickbox him. Silva seemed well aware of what will happen when he loses and I’m sure he doesn’t want to fight again, even kickboxing. I may toss a few bucks on Paul.

Yes, that it correct, Anderson Silva is the underdog and that shouldn't be surprises us all. He is old already and way past his prime, but can still hold his own in this fight.

But if you are talking about sentimental favorites, then I would say that Silva will be our favorite because we wanted him to beat the arrogant Jake Paul. Although Jake is respectful in this fight and wouldn't hear anything negative from him regarding his opponents, still though majority of us didn't like his personality or how he started this whole exhibition match hype.

I saw some bets right now in the listing of all bets in some gambling casino and yes most of the people right now are trying to bet for Jake Paul and I guess the underdog right now in term of bets is Silva but it is just a an initial bet before the match came there's a chance that the players might change their bet before the close bets happens.

Just matter of days now, as others wanted to see Anderson Silva kicking Jake Paul ass here, hehehehe. But I doubt that it will happen, it's just this two is going to make a lot of money. And after this fight, this two might continue to seek more exhibition matches specially the Paul Brothers as they are still hype.

It's like you say mate, for me Anderson is one of the oldest boxers and with more opinions for everything, age in boxing is not as decisive as it is in football or in any other sport where it really affects a lot, in the ring you don't need to run, just take a few steps and move well, I think the technique goes a lot there, but of course many will say that Paul has the advantage because he is younger, because he is more irreverent and because he is not afraid of him Nothing for the simple fact of being younger, and maybe yes, but in boxing things can happen in other ways, sometimes a 47-year-old veteran can knock you out and you won't realize it.

No mate, Anderson Silva already had 4 professional fights in boxing and this is his 5th fight. Two of those fights happened last year in just a span of four mere months, imagine Silva's age, yet he managed to attain that feat and finished it all successfully even if he is an MMA fighter. That's why I'm confident to say that this will be Jake's first defeat, I just hope that this isn't staged tho.

Both fighters respect each other because as we all know that they are they same they have a good record that they hold in and they don't want to ruin everything respect for the both sides is a good to see how they handle their opponent but in the fight day all this thing's are set aside and fight for their title as it was a big fight for them. Silva is different from other fighters quite but deadly so jake Paul must be alert on the time and have a good practice .

If there's one fighter who can challenge Jake Paul it's going to be Silva, Silva only has one fight in boxing but that one fight is enough to show boxing experts and critics that he has what it takes, I have a feeling that this fight will be very much different from all the fight Jake Paul has, I don't want to see Silva getting knock out just like what happened to Woodley as this will tarnish his image and his legacy, I also noticed that both fighters have big respect to each other, let's see in the ring if they will still respect each other.
