I run my MSI 270 (non x) with 1180/1050 at stock voltage and have 4,29M with i4, the 280x with 1060/1050 run with 5,44M and i have there also i4.

My 750ti with +135/400 run with 4200k in ccminer.

does this algo incorparate CPU as well?
Have some older 4 cores athlon, all of them are at 25% load.. and 2x280X and each doing 5.9 MHs at 1100/1000 with I 10, but I dont have no idea what should be optimum settings as I just discovered this coin to be gupu mineable and looks interesting...

Is this another super eco algorithm? Its cold in here once I switched even from skein Cheesy

The algorithm is intentionally designed to make some GPU threads idle while other are working, indeed.

is it possible to put all GPU threads into work?  Cheesy

Yes that would be great, or more optimised cgminer. Amd cards are lacking behind nV, and that we don't see very often.

Yes, but switching work between them is slower than just leaving the logic alone.

How are you settings for 280X or 7950 or 270 though?

For finetuning, you may have better luck with xintensity setting than with intensity. Looks like values just above 100 work well.

Any optimizations on settings? I tried some and im getting this:

270(non x) 1000MHz/850MHz/1.075V 3.665M each
280x 1080MHz/1000MHz/1.112V 6.039M each

Thanks

I have managed 4.05Mh/s for 270 1100/1000Mhz but only 5.5Mh/s for 280x 1080/1000Mhz. All at I 7.

What is your setting for 280x ?

You could try tuning xintensity (it is a fork of Karloth's cgminer)

Yes, its cgminer-heavy-2014-03-19-3.zip from 1gh.com and this version also creates a new bin file from a diff cl file. (heavy140319Pitcairngv1w256l4.bin) Old one was heavy140312Pitcairngv1w256l4.bin
In fact, on 7870 (the same chipset with 270) for me it went from below 3.2mhs to 3.7mhs. Does the new version by any chance start with 2 or more GPU threads? (1 is best for this kernel)

possible, i added now "gpu-threads" : "1" to my conf and now it the same speed as it was with the old version (4,2M)
I have found out I was testing with Catalyst 12.8 when I got significanlty higher numbers. For 13.12 there is still some modest hashrate gain, but apparently it requires a different approach to optimization.

This new version is slower than the old one (at last on my 270s) Old was 4,2M per card and the new one is 3,8M.
Do you run cgminer-heavy-2014-03-19-3.zip? The first one posted today really was slower on many cards (but not on Pitcairn/Tahiti where it was developed), the current one only has surefire optimizations that should benefit all cards.

New cgminer.exe is failing with "cgminer.exe is not a valid win32 application".
This is embarassing, the file got currupted during copy. Please redownload.

Redownloaded, now getting "Access is denied" when executing. Beta is still working fine and I ran from administrative command prompt.
Must be the old one cached somewhere, I have tested that current download works. Renamed the file just in case.

Really odd, working fine on my windows 8.1 miners, but not the windows 7; Rename still did not fix.

Appreciate your hard work!
Antivirus software blocking it perhaps?

Nope, not that either. It's odd, if I double click cgminer.exe it will run, but then die after I enter the connection information. If I pass the arguments via a batch file or try to run cgminer.exe from a command prompt it displays "access is denied".

Update : Reboot resolved it.

Using ccminer that was posted for nividia as well, 6.5M on a 680GTX, nice!
