I mine Ultranote since December and after a hardfork because of massive attacs against the XUN (Ultranote Network) in early January I am very comfortable with it.
You can find a good pool list at http://explorer.ultranote.org/#pools
and in the block explorer you can look at the blocks
edit: the cryptoknight pools are just mining the most profitable coins partly with proxys and nice hash to yield highest profits without taking care of the underlaying coin concept or if they produce damage to a coin by dumping it. Thats just my impression.
edit2: The concept of mining is to get a reward for supporting the network.
Ultranote has also the benefit to give up to 3% interest for holding coins in wallet deposits.

Hi guys, is the statement in the first post true? I mean the cryptoknight is not a reliable pool?
Is it just for XUN or it's valid for all the other coins mined there?

"Be careful, the Xun network is still broken. It may lockup for a while when blocks are found too fast. Hashrate is wasted during that period. Look for drops in the profit charts."
What does it mean? Is it true the XUN net is broken?

Compilation errors in Fedora 27 x64.
It seems there is a path issue somewhere in the Makefile or CMake conf.
Any pointers for compilation?

Is not easy start with new coin for miners, the reward must be really tempting/rewarding because unfortunately the coin on it's initial phase doesn't pay for the hardware and services costs to mine it.

Campaign: Top 3 miners campaign have started on listed pools. Use any of the pools listed in http://explorer.ultranote.org/#pools and keep mining for 1 week 30 Jan - 6th Feb. Top 3 miners will be rewarded as follow.. 1st place 5000 XUN coins. 2nd place 3000 XUN coins. 3rd place 2500 XUN coins. At the end of the campaign we count the amount of Total Hashes top miners have sent to the pool. This apply for ALL pools. So top 3 miners on any of the listed pools. Happy mining!
