Andriy Shevchenko will personally participate in the ecosystem as mentor and event host. He will shoulder true responsibilities and perform meaningful duties.
As a Principal, Andriy Shevchenko will mentor a Youth Talent with all or part of the following:
• Meet him personally at least 4 times a year.
• Teach him technique, leadership, ethics and attitude.
• Sponsor him to get professional help in physical training, nutrition, sports science, etc.
• Monitor his progress and advise on his strengths and weaknesses.
• Warn him against malpractices and pitfalls faced by a professional soccer player.
• Introduce him to scouts, clubs, agents and endorsements.
Please note that the Legends are mentors, not coaches. They won’t train the youth talents on a daily basis. But their advice, guidance and network are invaluable to the youth talents. And apart from the tangibles (stamina, pace, strength, skills…), the intangible qualities of these Legends (character, attitude, integrity, leadership, tenacity, experience…) are only accessible through personal interaction.
