I have 280x, driver is 16.9.1.
Miners are wolf-xmr-miner-v0.4 for XMR and aeon_gpu_miner_c8a5322 for AEON.
With bouth of miners I have rejected shares on XMR and AEON.
Can someone with working miner post here his .conf files??

After seeing your post i removed all drivers installed with guru and then did a clean install of 16.9.1. Then downloaded your latest miner and still nothing worked. Even my older cards. I also installed AMD SDK 3.0 as well. Tried all kinds of different conf settings and have given up for now. Went back to mining with my older cards. Ill just mine XMR with the RX 470/480 i have. I really dont understand this at all. 😕

i didn't notice that there is a topic of wolf xmr miner : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wolfs-xmr-gpu-miner-1600363some users say rx480 is mining xmr successfully (but some others don't succeed)
wolf-aeon-miner use basically the same code. results must match
the win64 binary with latest newer driver bugfix just came online (aeon_gpu_miner_c8a5322)

Fixed it, FYI for anyone else, I delete poolstate.bin and p2state file from data directory leaving just the blockchain file and restarted. Synced again now, sorry for wasting forum space, LOL
Also had to recover wallet from passphrase, file was corrupted (don't know why)

Anyone see this problem before:
Ran low on hdd space (forgot to check it recently),
Aeon daemon running,
Daemon tried to save and could not,
Cleared some space on hdd and re-run daemon now getting this:

Yea nothing worked on the new miner, so i reverted back to the old one as well. All my cards running like normal except for the RX 470/480

Yeah Im getting rejected shares as well. Reverted back to - aeon_gpu_miner_1f45234 - Still get the odd reject.

On the new release I have been playing with it and I'm maxed at 980 HS. Which is fine, if stabilizes and accepts the shares. 15.12 drivers.

the developers do not communicate, so market volume diminishes...
is there any development going on in aeon?
I'm part of the Monero core team as well as the lead developer for AEON. The current AEON roadmap involves rebasing on Monero's upcoming release. I'm currently working with the rest of the Monero team to finalize the new release. After that, work will commence on the AEON rebase. This is not very far in the future, although I certainly understand that people would prefer that everything be done yesterday.

i started to update wolf-aeon-miner with latest commits from wolf-xmr-miner.
i renamed the branch to "improvements_from_xmr"
the hashrate seems similar to former version but you can now enjoy cpu mining besides gpu mining, thanks to hyc!
[edit] no windows binary for now, my usual toolchain don't work and no time to investigate today. sorry.

no news on my side but wolf has just updated his xmr miner (0.4): https://github.com/wolf9466/wolf-xmr-miner/releasesgive it a try and tell me if rx480 is working. if yes, i'll integrate his work into aeon miner.
