Well,

i found that mining at your pool didn't work.
1. A raspberry Pi (while having low power I know) didn't even apear as worker
2. My workers appeared but i never got a single amigacoin....

So somehow it didn't work.

heh, a pi isnt good for scrypt Wink

However the pool made about 750k aga... so people actually mined at it Smiley

We've about 200k aga that are totally unclaimed (accounts got deleted due to inactivity) that we're going to donate to the aga-dev to support the coin a little.

If we get people mining it again, we would keep it.

Due to the lack of miners we're closing down the aga-pool.

please withdraw your funds, any funds that are kept on the wallet will be donated to the aga-dev.

Cheers,

Yep, good idea. Soon as I finish cpuminer for AROS I'll study something on at least AROS (I don't have any Amiga-next gen neither Mac with MorphOS at the moment).
It isn't a good time for me, I don't have free time in these weeks (due my new job), furthermore I have to find a new market after cryptoaltex closing and pay for that.  Angry

There could be a simple trick:
Offer a online-wallet and make a simple client which talks to it.

Yes, right, but it's a very huge work to do as we discussed before. A famous Amiga developer (called "zzd10h") had tried to do it, but he gave up some time ago...

Next release of AEROS will contain a wallet and a miner for Amigacoins.
I will accept Amigacoins as payment if at least 1 agrees to order me an Pizza for the same amount via www.lieferheld.de : p
This way they become value.

We could use a forum to offer soft and Hardware or Pizza/beer. More or less meant as donations to developers. This way Amigacoins go to devs and devs can than exchange them to offered physical things.

Oh... Good old days...  Cry

In the meantime I'm working on a porting of cpuminer for AROS.
For those who don't know, AROS in an unofficial Amiga operating system that runs on x86 systems.
I made a screenshot and hoping to finish it in these days.  Tongue

Warhol’s Amiga experiments were the products of a commission by Commodore International to demonstrate the graphic arts capabilities of the Amiga 1000 personal computer.

@teknohog

Really had a hard time reading your rant about 'Men's liberation front'.

Wow, I didn't know anyone actually reads my homepages Smiley That one is a particularly old one (and admittedly messy).

Np dude. You are an interesting character for sure. Wink

but admin removed my post because they think bitcoin technology is only a fraud

lol

No wonder. You can't create BTC with an Amiga.

so i wonder if the amiga comunity is aware of this coin ?

http://www.amigaworld.net/
http://aminet.net/
http://www.amigans.net/

http://www.amigabounty.net/ - accepts BTC donations ..

http://openamiga.net/

http://www.amiga68k.de/

or shops ... like

http://www.amiga-shop.net/
http://amigastore.eu/
http://www.vesalia.de/

So dev did you reach out ? ... Coding an amiga wallet may be a lot easier for the amiga community Wink

To be honest I know only your first three links and those shops, personally I posted about Amigacoin only on amigaworld.net (plus amiga.org, aros-exec.org, morphzone.info and an Italian forum) a couple of months ago. I tried to write to eab.abime.net (very famous Amiga forum), but admin removed my post because they think bitcoin technology is only a fraud. Shocked Also I know a fan who wrote on amigans.net. The second link is just an archive of free software, not a forum. I wouldn't get in touch with shops because I think first Amigacoin should reach a "critical mass".  Wink
