Have you any site?

No site yet - this will come soon in a minimal version as a blog with our first post.

We have to do hardcore task prioritization right now, as there are many things to work on that are more important right now.

Also thank you for your suggestion regarding IOU. Since we are launching our tokens on Counterparty, rather than creating our own blockchain, we do not need such platform. Anyone purchasing cards has immediate access to them.

Since I'm an avid Hearthstone player I'm intrigued to hear that your developer is into the game as well. I guess you don't really have a GUI to show off yet? Not even a placeholder / concept art? I really love the way Blizzard designed the Hearthstone board and cards. I hope that you can take what they did right and create something that is still uniquely your own.

My opinion is that Hearthstone, unlike other digital TCGs, reached such a large success not just because of the existing Warcraft fanbase, but because Blizzard was able to create a "magical" atmosphere, together with great flow and feel to the game play aspects.

Other TCGs have tried, but I feel that games like Magic the gathering, the recently released Eternal, and the Elder Scrolls TCGs all fail to accomplish what Hearthstone did: they feel stiff and boring. Hearthstone is fun and fluid.

I hope you take my words into consideration when designing the game. As an avid TCG player (and investor in the developing decentralized gaming space) I really want to see your game succeed.

Best of luck. And if you have a slack channel I'd love to join. Otherwise I'll keep checking in here from time to time. And I'll buy some Wood cards. Smiley I like to collect things.

Thank you for your kind words, kwest!

Great to see someone with a similar mindset as we have. Smiley Hearthstone certainly has done a great job in delivering a very smooth user experience and makes it easy even for players that are new to the TCG genre to get started and have fun. We are very dedicated towards creating a gaming experience that resembles at least a similar user-friendlyness.

We soon will have a blog post elaborating on the core board rules of the game so you will be able to better grasp that our game will be truly unique.

Creating a Slack channel also is a great idea which we definitely should do soon as the community continues to grow.

Thank you for your support!

What is going on with this project ? I didn't like the lowest price for a card is $10 to buy in. Now you see we have heard nothing from the Dev and where  the cards ? What is going on with this game and how does it even work ? Is there even a game at all ? I want to believe there is more then just some fancy graphics and promises.

Hi!

I am sorry but if you do not find $10 per card reasonable, then this is probably not the right project for you.

Also I do not understand what you are asking in your second question. Are you referring to the ~150 different cards we are planning to have ready for the main release? It takes time. This game is a huge project and we are in the very early development stage of it right now. If you expect a game delivered to your doorsteps tomorrow morning, please move on - then this project again is not for you.

Considering the game mechanics, we will be having a blog post up soon that will elaborate on this.

Stay tuned!

Maybe faster make ICO on Liqui.io

"IOU

IOU market is about trading coins purchased by traders in the ICO and that so far have no own network. Until recently there has been no possibility to trade such tokens (no network – deposit/withdrawl doesn’t work). But Liqui team has found a solution: when a trader/investor participates in ICO indirectly but through our platform (all transaction IDs are of course provided to developers’ wallets) – we can credited the balance of the relevant coin to them once the crowdsale is over!

Therefore, trading begins hours after ICO and there’s no need to wait until coin developers release the network (which often takes months). Or you can just keep the tokens on the balance (like it happens in any ICO) and once the network has been released – witdraw them. When the network is ready – IOU flag disappears from the relevant pair and then this pair functions as an ordinary coin. "

If you set price of 1 coin 10-12 satoshi - many people buy it fast - and you will have fund for development more faster

any news?

We are working hard on many different areas.

Soon, we will have the inital board rules done. Once that is finished, we will have an announcement diving into more details about them.

Age of Chains will definitely be unique in its game design.

On another note, we have been offered a slot for FounderX - a three months invite-only program in Silicon Valley for 50 Founder Institute Graduates with the goal of finetuning the business & pitch to ultimately raise funds from angels and VCs. However, it is still not clear whether the program right now is the best use of our time and funds, so we are carefully evaluating whether we are going to participate or not.

We would like to thank you for the huge success we have had with our first card sale so far. We raised approximately an amount of 2 BTC so far which we promise to make most efficient use of. Our second card is under development and we will post it here once it is done.

Have a great Sunday!

dev, good to see making progress.

is the project a blockchain based software ?

Personally , do not quiet understand how the game works in a way of blockchain .

The game itself does not run on the blockchain. What runs on the blockchain are the tokens that represent cards within the game.

Age of Chains will read your wallet and enable whatever cards you have in your wallet to be played ingame. You need to have the blockchain based tokens representing the ingame card in order to be able to build your deck and play with the respective card.

Got it , it is a great new trading cards project idea .

Good luck, dev.  Smiley

Nice to see another game being developed on Counterparty, there really seems to be an active niche ecosystem emerging.

Indeed. Also, the Counterparty community has been very helpful and multiple of services building on top of it already have approached us for cooperating. The already established infrastructure will certainly accelerate the overall game development. There is no other chain with such usability serving our purpose, we are very happy having decided to build on top of Counterparty.

I am hopeful that the Age of Chains will help guide us out of the age of chains to the glorious age of chains Smiley

Thank you for your words, funken! We certainly aim at creating a user experience where the regular video gamer with little to no understanding of blockchain technology will be able to easily make use of the full functionality of our game.

Any news? How many cards remaining on 2 Stage?

We are currently running daily playtests for defining the core board design and game mechanics.
Also, lots of other things going on - amongst others: Planning on card pack design/implementation with drop probabilities etc, figuring out the exact lore as well as designing the next cards.

Regarding Woodcoin's Guardian:
Only 29 cards left until reaching Tier 3. Smiley

dev , one question for discussion:

Since we just have 777 cards with fixed supply and non-division, how could we get a large user base?

Great question!

As Woodcoin's Guardian will have a very low drop rate for being obtained through the purchase of card packs, it is ensured that the supply of Woodcoin's Guardians will last for a longer period of time, even though the card is extremely rare.

You may think a bit of it as finding a "Black Lotus" card within a Magic: The Gathering card pack, which is a card that is worth around $30.000 and one of the rarest in the whole game with just a 1100 supply limit (Alpha version).

Many other cards will be available in much higher quantities, enabling us to scale accordingly.
